ZOO YORK - Sky High Pro Series - Al

How many ways can we look at a city? In the collaboration between ZOO YORK and Alessandro Zuek Simonetti we get two ways of looking at the city- from street level on the deck, and from above. The Venice grown photographer turned New York City transplant takes his photography work off the ground and into the sky, documenting street culture from an unexpected and far out angle, achieving equally impressive and immensely rewarding results. Quoting Simonetti’s oxymoron, “From above we are grounded�.This set of Sky High Pro Series decks by Alessandro Zuek Simonetti features photography that captured the essence of New York City from an aerial point of view in a timeless black and white. Some of the landmarks featured include our dear Lady of Liberty, Empire State Building and Brooklyn Bridge. ZOO YORK - Signature Collection

2005 Rookie Of The Year and current Manhanttanite, Zered Basset and his British Bull Dog, Mr. T are now the inspiration behind the new ZOO YORK INSTITUTE’s Signature Collection. The upcoming collection features a range of items that will help you on your skating journeys. So far what we see are tee-shirts and decks featuring a whimsical portrait of Mr. T in shades, logo hoodies, jeans, camera and a cap. Done up in a cool black and royal purple, this collection, according to the folks at ZOO YORK, is for those who are “officially down and those who know and have known since day one�. The Drop: Urban Art Infill | New Yo

A celebration of the urban environment and the creativity it inspires, The Drop: Urban Art Infill is an ambitious multi-medium festival highlight urban art in its various forms. The day-long event will see interactive installation, experimental musical experience, avant-garde fashion projects, and more. To take place at multiple locations in the gallery-filled neighborhood of Chelsea and along side the recently opened High Line Park, the festival welcome the audience to participate, forming dialogues between the different communities within the New York City culture.The event kicks off this Saturday, October 3rd, followed by Opening Party featuring Live Painting Event by Chris Mendoza & Yuri Shimojo (Barnstormers), Pablo Power, Jason Woodside & Marco Raab. LeBron James “Gift of the Game�

The Big Apple has always been good to LeBron James, so The King wanted to do something special to show his appreciation. This Saturday, November 7th, LeBron is giving the “Gift of the Game� to New York City by opening up seven gyms for high school ballplayers. From 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM, various gyms throughout the city will be open for you to play.
