The latter pack is right around the corner! Among other select retailers, the DQM x Kicks HI x HUF Vans Half Cab Pack will drop on June 27th at all three HUF locations.Vans joined forces with DQM, HUF and Kicks HI to design this three-sneaker pack. All three colorways are inspired by the respective company’s color scheme and possess a white vulcanized rubber sole. As stated earlier, look for this pack to hit retailers on June 27th in a very limited quality. Vans X Taka Hayashi - No Quarter Lx

Vans teamed up with Japanese illustrator Taka Hayashi to present a new collection for the 2009 fall/winter season. As with all great art, the sneakers were designed with deep inspiration. Hayashi used elements from, â€Å"Italian footwear of the ‘60sâ€Â� and â€Å"pieces of military vintageâ€Â� to create the perfect look. Taka Hayashi x Vans Vault No Quarte

Longtime Vans collaborator Taka Hayashi is about to drop a collection of new models with distinct Native American inspiration.  The Taka Hayashi x Vans No Quarter also incorporates military styling and 1960s Italian shoe design for a look that sets it apart from the other super-hightops of late.  These feature a familiar eyelet panel that resembles the Sk8-Hi, and they ride vulcanized rubber soles with identically coloured foxing bands.  There’s one each in tonal black or brown, green and orange.  Expect these soon, as Vans will start rolling out their Fall 2009 collection in advance of the back to school season.  via FreshngoodRead the rest of Taka Hayashi x Vans Vault No Quarter© Sneaker News, 2009. |Permalink |No comment |Add todel.icio.us close

VANS - Sk8 Hi California

The new Vans Sk8 Hi California puts a twist to the long selling model, Sk8 Hi. Wrapped in suede heel and toe sections over canvas uppers, this model features extra reinforcement material on the ankle. The top two lace holes have been replaced with an outdoor boot like rivetted metal lace holes. What looks like a wax coated laces replace the traditional laces and the whole sneaker is contrasted with clean all white mid soles. There are additional decorative lines on the mid sole where it would usually be flat. These models come in black or red colorways and is currently available at all good select stores.
