NBA Feet: Kevin Durant + Oklahoma C

Yesterday, we gave you a look at an eye-catching new version of Kevin Durant’s KDII shoes that are being referred to as the ‘Creamsicles.’ Last night, Kevin and many of his Oklahoma City Thunder teammates debuted the vibrant kicks on court as they faced off against the Dallas Mavericks. As you can see, the Creamsicles were hard to miss, as the bright orange KDII’s lit up the Ford Center in Oklahoma City en route to an unfortunate 14 point Thunder loss. No word yet on whether or not this colorway will make it to retail, but for now you can keep reading for a look at Kevin and company turning heads during last night’s game. NBA Feet: Kevin Durant + Oklahoma C

The Oklahoma City Thunder isn’t exactly an entirely new franchise, but their move to the OKC could be viewed as a fresh start of sorts. Kevin Durant has led this young and talented Thunder team to a more-than-respectable 27-21 record to date, which currently makes them a playoff team in the stacked Western Conference. Some of the Thunder players were playing “follow-the-leader” on Tuesday night, as Jeff Green, Nick Collison, and Thabo Sefolosha were seen wearing Home PEs of the Nike KD II, with Durant wearing a nice orange and blue colourway himself. For Brandon Jennings, the NBA Draft is fast approaching and right around the corner, and he’s been flying coast-to-coast the past few weeks for scheduled workouts with prospective employers. words_Nick DePaulaWith the 2009 NBA Draft looming at the end of the month, Brandon Jennings is currently putting in work around the country during workouts for prospective teams drafting in the 4-10 range. He’s been repping Under Armour ever since his journey to the league took him across seas to Rome for all of last year, and their first ever hoops shoe has been seen on his feet in several colorways throughout the season, with this all white version the latest that we have a look at.While not as mean perhaps as the all black/white model or the special edition he wore when he faced off against the “all hype” Ricky Rubio last December, this all white version features a clean upper made of perforated leather with a texturized synthetic hit along the toe and heel quarters. As always, his ‘Young Money’ personalization can be found along the medial collar. close

Nike Air Trainer III - Transformers

Back in 2007, Nike created a Transformers edition of the Air Trainer III to coincide with the release of the first live-action movie, and while the shoe was relatively well-received, this sample version would have made them so much more legit. To the casual glance, this look-see sample is not all that different from the version that was released, but a closer look reveals one glaring difference. Apparently, when the shoe was originally designed, it featured a large Autobots logo on the tongue of the right shoe. Due to legal matters, Nike was forced to remove the logo before the shoe was released, but now this sample has surfaced to show us all what we missed out on. The good news is that if you are a size 9 and you’re ready to drop some dough on them, this sample pair is available now on eBay.
