LIVESTRONG along with Nike and Marc Newson will be hosting an event in Paris, France this Friday, July 17th to celebrate Lance Armstrong and his long awaited return to the Tour de France. Guests who attend the event will be honored with this special pair of Nike Sportswear x Marc Newson x LIVESTRONG Zvezdochka shoes. The Zvezdochka was originally designed by Marc Newson along with Nike a number of years ago and saw a limited release at select retailers. words_Nick DePaulaIt’s undoubtedly one of my favorite shoes EVER, and now the Nike Zvezdochka is joining the lexicon of recent classics that Nike Sportswear has been reliving in LIVESTRONG black and yellow to commemorate Lance Armstrong’s current Tour de France push. While a reverse colorway might’ve been hotter (Key: The louder, the better), this version comes equipped with not only the rubberized upper, mesh inner bootie and Zoom Air-stocked insole that the shoe is comprised of, but also included in the set is a LIVESTRONG bracelet, Paris city guide maps and an invite to the STAGES art installation that’ll be taking place this Friday, July 17th at the Gallerie Emmanuel Perrotin in Paris and running until August 8th. colette x Timberland 6? Work Boots

Many may argue that Timberland has sort of fallen off when it comes to the fashion industry due to the popularity of Nike Boots and that the company is due for its demise when the Air Jordan Spiz’ike Boots roll around. Regardless of what you may have heard let it be known Timberland still has a really strong following in the industry and this newest collaboration goes to show for it.Seen here are some preview images of the Timberland 6″ Work Boots which have been designed in collaboration with Colette. The boots use the classic wheat color tone accented with colette blue on the heel padding, contrast laces, and hang tag. Colette is printed across the tongue. As much as some of us try to fight it, Kanye West creates trends. His latest? Timberlands in the summer. The rapping- fashionisto has been seen out and about wearing worn-in 6 Inch Premium Timberlands at awards shows, and other various paparazzi-friendly spots.West is not the only one wearing timbo’s though, Lil Wayne also seems to be rocking the construction boots in the middle of this heat wave as well. It’s a heavyweight match-up, arguably the two biggest rappers in the game rocking the same footwear, different ways. colette X Timberland 6″ Boots | P

Parisian retailer of all things fun and fine, colette, had collaborated with Timberland to produce some limited edition 6″ boots. The ankle padding and laces get a colette blue treatment and the tongue features an embossed colette logo. The boots are also deliberately distressed on the toes to give a worn-in look. The hang-tag also comes with a colette blue logo, making the boots distinctly colette.
