Reebok Answer XIII “All-Star Game

When the 2009-2010 season started, all signs pointed to Allen Iverson dressing in red and suiting up as a Western Conference All-Star player. Four games or so in, A.I. was dreading his decision to go to Memphis and became a free agent. He’d later end up back in Philadelphia, meaning this season he’ll play aside LeBron James and crew on the Eastern team, assuming the nostalgic fan vote can make him an All-Star, that is.These Reebok Answer XIIIs were created for his roster spot on the West obviously, as they use an all red upper with hits of white on the midsole. Reebok Answer XIII “All-Star Game

At the beginning of this NBA season, all signs pointed to Allen Iverson’s playing in the All-Star game for the West Coast team- assuming he’d get voted in, of course. To that extent, this pair of the Reebok Answer XIII was designed to be used in the February classic by A.I. and comes in a predominantly red upper with white midsole. However, since A.I. broke ties with the Memphis Grizzlies and made his return to the Philadelphia 76ers, it’s obvious that he would be playing for the East Coast team now if anything. But you can still enjoy pictures of this especially designed Reebok Answer XIII. And stay tuned in case an East Coast colorway pops up. close

Next Sunday when the NBA’s elite descend upon Dallas, Texas for the 2010 NBA All-Star Game we’ll see some fresh new faces take to the court for the big game, as well plenty of familiar faces seen battling it out year after year, such as Allen Iverson who will be making and starting in his 11th straight All-Star Game appearance which is a little surprising since he’s been suffering injuries and has only played 18 games this season.In honor of getting his name on the rooster for the 2010 NBA All-Star Game Reebok has produced this All-Star version of AI’s 13th signature sneaker, the Reebok Answer XIII. Atleast that’s what we’re being told by in52.To use it seems a little odd that this would be an All-Star Game version seeing as how Iverson plays for the 76ers, an Eastern Conference team. If they are indeed an All-Star Game model the only explanation I can come up with is that Reebok produced these before Iverson was a defiant for the All-Star Game, back when he was still playing for the Memphis Grizzlies, before he signed with the Sixers in December cause it wasn’t until two weeks ago that Iverson was announced as making the Eastern Confere close
