Reebok Phase II - Blue - Red - Whit

When I first took a look at these I thought I would be writing another ‘New Balance (Insert Random Number Here) Spring/Summer 2010 Preview’ post but that isn’t the case. This Phase II comes from Reebok and only look like the running shoes New Balance is known for. The Phase II features blue suede, red synthetic and white mesh upper on top of a very New Balance-esque sole. Not only do these resemble New Balances in design they also mirror in price, coming in at only $65 you can get them August 1st. Via: Slam close

Custom Kicks - Rome II Based on a painting by Al Held [Rome II], these Dunks are the epitome of abstract. With it’s bright coloring and sea foam green suede, they are so odd that you are left with no choice but to break necks. The artwork in the mid panels is replicated from the painting, while the contrast stitching and white suede tongue are a perfect accent to the clear vinyl swooshes. Nike Zoom Soldier III - Think Pink

Last Saturday the WNBAâ€â„¢s Atlanta Dream wore Nike Zoom Solider IIIs in pink and white against the Seattle Storm to raise breast cancer awareness.  Dedicated to their message the team even wore jerseys to match the sneakers. The shoes feature the same pink seen on the Gloriaâ€â„¢s. Hopefully one day they can be released with profits going to breast cancer funds. Via: LRJ23 close

Air Jordan III Retro - White - Ceme

Last night, we whet your appetites with a look at what’s to come from Jordan Brand in 2010, and now it’s time to drop perhaps the biggest bombshell yet. In the tradition of recent releases like the Countdown and Defining Moments Packs, another accomplishment from Michael’s career will be honored next year with the Slam Dunk Pack. The pack will contain both pairs of kicks that Mike wore when winning back to back Slam Dunk Contest titles in 1987 and 1988. That means that the OG Air Jordan II from ‘87 and the White/Cement Air Jordan III from ‘88 will both be available in one amazing pack. It is still unknown exactly when this pack will be hitting shelves, but a 2010 release is on the horizon, so be sure to stick with Sneaker News for the latest info.
