John Maeda x Reebok ERS 5000 Maeda

Reebok ERS 5000 x John Maeda

Nike isn’t the only brand that has shimmery shoes this season. While they are off commemorating the lunar landing the good people over at Reebok have teamed up with John Maeda for he likes to describe as a ‘thoughtful reduction’ on the ERS 5000. The models name fits the futuristic makeover  and the metallic upper doesn’t seem out of place at all. For his shoe the author of The Laws of Simplicity used metallics, sheer plastic and patent leather to come up with a very clean design that any alien would approve of. Via Hypebeast close

CLUCT x mita sneakers Reebok Ex-O-F

The Ex-O-Fit has definitely been one of Reebok’s more impressive looks in recent memory so it was a no brainer for CLUCT and mita to team up on a pair or two. Taking a page from the LIVESTRONG book the shoe is given a mainly black with yellow along for the ride colorway.
