Reebok Fall 2009 Top Down – Basqu

Reebok excavated artsy gems from the Basquiat camp and applied them to one of their Fall 2009 models, the Top Down Mid. The shoe comes based in either white or powder blue. Both shoes include the abstract portraits and unique fonts Michael Basquiat (1960-1988) used in his graffiti and paintings. Reebok has plans to release the Top Down “Basquiat Pack” this Fall, but the pack is available now at colette.Via colette. close

Reebok has once again decided to bless one of their silhouettes with artwork from famous artist Basquiat. This time around, the model of choice is the Top Down, a high top shoe which is shown here in two colorways. Both sport vibrant and wild designs across the uppers. Hellz Bellz x Reebok Top Down – N

Last time we saw a sneak peek of the Hellz Bellz collaboration with Reebok. This time, we have an even better look at the ladies’ sneaker. The Hellz Bellz x Reebok Top Down comes in a clean black/white/yellow colorway, with a style that fits any rock occasion. The high top has its name for a reason, as the top ankle can be folded down to make a low-top for those days when you feel like a change. Hellz and Reebok showcase their names on the foldable panels, and to even make it more Hellz-ish, black rocker studs are placed on the middle of the perforated black leather upper. Yellow is placed on the laces to spice the shoe up, but of course, you can make it your own style once you cop these in November!Via TSG. close

Hellz Bellz x Reebok Top Down – H

Reebok’s response to this year’s trend toward higher and higher cut sneakers was to take two steps forward and one step back.  Pictured above in its full and upright position, the Hellz Bellz x Reebok Top Down is a study in juxtaposition.  It contrasts black to white, that simple colourway to the crazy fold-down design and a screened Marilyn Monroe and James Dean print on the inside to foil the simple upper.  If you believe the insoles, this approach got Hellz and RBK “…Ten Steps Ahead of You!”  Then again, they probably want you to wear these, so be a walking contradiction and cop yours when they release later this year.  via HSRead the rest of Hellz Bellz x Reebok Top Down – Holiday ‘09© Sneaker News, 2009. |Permalink |No comment |Add todel.icio.us close

HELLZ x Reebok Top Down

Despite all of the ‘Pump’ sneakers we have seen throughout the past couple of months, photos of other soon-to-be-released sneakers continue to surface on the web. Lately, we have seen the Reebok Kamikaze 2010 and the Orchard Street x Reebok Fuze 1.0 just to name a couple. Tomorrow, October 29th, 2009, Reebok will unleash a collaboration with HELLZ.Both sides joined efforts on the newly-designed silhouette dubbed the Top Down which was exclusively created for the women. This sneaker fits in perfectly with all of the high-top sneakers that have released this year. It features a heavily-perforated upper colored in black and white with the sole coming in the latter color.
