MAS Series: Puma Feat. Alexander Mc

Another successful collaboration is ensured with the teaming up of Puma with master designer Alexander McQueen. The AMQ Ribcage Sport (photo above) is one Puna and AMQ ’s  13-collection release for its Autumn/Winter collection. The theme of this season’s collection is centered on the sport of boxing, with “Power� as the main motivation and reference of the whole collaboration.McQueen worked around the concept of human anatomy in his design. With the above model dubbed AMQ Ribcage Sport� and the colors identified as dress blues-fennel seed, it features a mixture of canvas, leather and plastic in the ribcage. Unique and revolutionary with a 3D sole that changes color when hit by the light, McQueen complete the look with his embossed name on the heel. This model comes in two colorway options. PUMA X Alexander McQueen - Autumn/W

With a new season of collaboration inspired by boxing, the Autumn/Winter 2009 collection of Puma X Alexander McQueen is very much about power as represented by the rivalry between Tiger and Crane. Among the solid collection of footwear and apparel is a reappearance of Ribcage Sport in a new colorway. Or should we say, new colorways, as the TPU “ribcage� overlay (inspired by the human ribcage) changes color when exposed to UV light. With a commercial running silhouette and a 3D My Left Foot insert and high frequency welded tendon mesh upper, the kicks are comfortable and anatomically friendly in all manners of interpretation. The kicks are now available at select retailers. Alexander McQueen x Puma Ribcage â€

Alexander McQueen x Puma – AMQ Tr

The latest model to come from the ongoing Alexander McQueen x Puma collaboration effort, the start of which we showed you back in February, is the AMQ Trail Trainer. Available in two very different mid and low versions, McQueen blends a bit of the runway into Puma’s urban lifestyle silhouettes. The mid-top features a brown suede upper accented with hits of grey, maroon, and red, whereas the low-top uses an unconventional printed plastic for its muted beige, grey, and brown upper. High fashion god Alexander McQueen has collaborated with Puma to create a high top and low top sneaker. The sneakers are available in special boutiques but not on a lot of stores on a whole. Surprisingly the brown high top and beige low disappoint as a sneaker in general and especially when considering the shoes were done by one on the most forward thinking minds in fashion.Via: Sneakerfiles close
