The Puma Disc was released for the first time in 1994 and revolutionized the standard of modern running shoes. It was very technologically advanced for its time, and stylish as well.PUMA’s Summer 2009 Disc Blaze Collection is coming in a pack of three this July. All three colorways, feature a tiger stripe pattern on the upper. Each shoe features mostly of a mesh upper, Trinomic fit wheel, and hyper-responsive CELL cushioning underfoot. Puma First Round Vulc - 2010 Previe

It’s official that vulcanized midsoles are the latest hot trend in lifestyle sneakers. With some models, this look has been around for a long time, but now some brands are taking some of their classic models and adding a vulcanized sole to the original design for a more stylish street look. We’ve shown a bunch of Nike styles like the Auto Flight and Auto Force that have experimented with the vulc sole hybrid concept and now it appears that Puma will also be following suit. Their classic First Round model has been streamlined for a cleaner, less bulky casual look and has also been spiced up with some sun-ray type graphics on the midsoles. Both black/white/red and white/black/silver versions of the First Round Vulc will be hitting select retailers some time in 2010, so stay tuned for further info. Have we forgotten what the purpose of a vulcanized sole is for? Iâ€â„¢m pretty much 100% sure no one can skate in these, well maybe Terry Kennedy but besides that…Anyway Puma hops on the vulcanized-everything band wagon and gives us a look at their Puma First Round Vulc which is slated to drop in 2010.The sneakerâ€â„¢s have an interesting upper with star bursts designs.
