The story of the MY-23, in the words of its designer and longtime PUMA collaborator, Yasuhiro Mihara:“Here, it looks like a splash. You’re stepping through the water and have a splash on your shoes. The theme was ‘While people ran away from a zombie.’ At midnight, you see the horror movie on TV and people and screaming and sweating to run away. When you change the channel, at nighttime, you have the shopping channel, and there, people are exercising vigorously. So I got the inspiration from those two TV programs together. They are the theme of the design.” close

Click here to view the embedded video.For the 8+ million residents of New York City, Governors Island, the tract of land just off Lower Manhattan, was one shrouded in obscurity, till now.  With the help of PUMA and Tretorn, the island will be the site of RECESS, a recreational event series embodies outdoor fun and games. Enjoy a day filled with activities and refreshments in the midst of grassy parade ground. To kick the series, RECESS will put into play the art of Badminton.  No need to worry about cumbersome netting and racquets, all equipments will be provided.  Or you could simply enjoy the short getaway from the city. Nike SB - Dunk Lo Pro SB - Jason Vo
