PUMA x Sagem Wireless - PUMA Brande

Announced over the news wire yesterday, athletic lifestyle label PUMA just went into agreement with French communication equipment maker Sagem Wireless,  in creating a PUMA branded cell phone.  The cell phone will be part of greater emphasis by PUMA on accessories and other design-related sector.  Though not familiar to American consumers, Sagem Wirelss has created a niche of design-oriented mobile device in recent years, including a success joint venture with PORSCHE DESIGN.  The PUMA cell phone is scheduled to debut in Europe around the Spring/Summer seasons of 2010.  A global release is scheduled for late 2010. via: WWD> PUMA> Sagem Wireless© Poe for Freshness, 2009. |Permalink |No comment |Add to del.icio.usPost catergories: Collaboration, Gadgets close

The story of the MY-23, in the words of its designer and longtime PUMA collaborator, Yasuhiro Mihara:“Here, it looks like a splash. You’re stepping through the water and have a splash on your shoes. The theme was ‘While people ran away from a zombie.’ At midnight, you see the horror movie on TV and people and screaming and sweating to run away. When you change the channel, at nighttime, you have the shopping channel, and there, people are exercising vigorously. So I got the inspiration from those two TV programs together. They are the theme of the design.” close

Nike Dunk Low CL East - White - Bla

It looks like speckles will be an ongoing theme in Nike’s upcoming East vs. West collection. We’ve already shown you another Dunk Low East and two Dunk High East models that make use of some combination of Black, White and Volt Yellow highlights and speckles. This latest pair is similar to the other Dunk Low model, but this time, there’s a combination of White and Black on the upper. The shoe features White speckles on the Black sections and also sports Volt laces and heel branding. They also have the same hat and stopwatch character on the insole that has appeared on some other Dunk East models. These kicks won’t be hitting stores until December, but you can check out a bunch more images after the jump in the meantime.
