MAS Series: Puma Feat. Alexander Mc

Continuing this series, Alexander McQueen has this outdoor-inspired Trail mid designed for Puma as part of its Autumn Winter collection. With the colder season already creeping around the corner, you can stay warm on your feet while on the streets. As expected for most of this style, it features a combination of suede and nubuk materials for its upper, along with a two-tone mesh. The two-tone hiking laces sure was a nice touch and lends authenticity to the design concept. McQueen’s  personal twist to this model is present in the thermocratic material thats forms the quarter panels, as well as the formstripe that changes color as to conform to the heat generated by the user’s foot. Still included in the Winter collection is the AMQ Trail Low, which was meant to be a hiking shoe but beautified. Marrying the latest trend in outdoor sneakers and the charm of fashion made this product a success in my opinion. It features as a highlight the lenticular overlay and the 3M reflective formstip and sporty open mesh. To lend authenticity to the style, it kept the two-tone hiking laces for this model.  Indeed, this particular pair looks as fashionable as it can get, but it is also a practical pair that you can simply wear when you don’t know what to use. It looks comfortable, too. close

Alexander McQueen x PUMA - Trail Mi

Alexander McQueen’s collaboration with PUMA is one of the firsts which brings a sense of high-fashion luxury and sophistication into the world of casual sneakers. The collaboration Trail Mid Trainer from McQueen and PUMA this season takes a different turn as the kicks are infused with a healthy, happy outdoor vibe rather than swanky uptown sleekness. The trainer is crafted from a “carafe� brown suede, paired with charcoal grey suede on the toes and red accents on the signature PUMA stripes and tongue. Highly reminiscent of fall and hiking boots, these trainers are kept city-friendly with a crisp white-sole. The Trail Mid Trainer is now available online at oki-ni. Alexander McQueen x Puma – AMQ Tr

The latest model to come from the ongoing Alexander McQueen x Puma collaboration effort, the start of which we showed you back in February, is the AMQ Trail Trainer. Available in two very different mid and low versions, McQueen blends a bit of the runway into Puma’s urban lifestyle silhouettes. The mid-top features a brown suede upper accented with hits of grey, maroon, and red, whereas the low-top uses an unconventional printed plastic for its muted beige, grey, and brown upper. High fashion god Alexander McQueen has collaborated with Puma to create a high top and low top sneaker. The sneakers are available in special boutiques but not on a lot of stores on a whole.
