The story of the MY-23, in the words of its designer and longtime PUMA collaborator, Yasuhiro Mihara:“Here, it looks like a splash. You’re stepping through the water and have a splash on your shoes. The theme was ‘While people ran away from a zombie.’ At midnight, you see the horror movie on TV and people and screaming and sweating to run away. When you change the channel, at nighttime, you have the shopping channel, and there, people are exercising vigorously. So I got the inspiration from those two TV programs together. They are the theme of the design.� close

Casio G-Shock â€Å"Shock The Worl

The worldwide Casio G-Shock â€Å"Shock The Worldâ€Â� promotional tour, which kicked off in London on June 11th and arrives in Hong Kong on June 26th. Each city will host parties with exclusive product launches and special guest performances and DJs. The project also features a series of exclusive artist collaborations with the brand, including Hong Kong’s local street-lifestyle brand SUBCREW, led by celebrity actor/designer/DJ Sam Lee and popular rap group, 24HERBS, Singapore’s art and design collective, :phunk, and Taiwan’s fixed-gear bicycle crew, nabiis. The tour also features the â€Å"Father of G-Shock,â€Â� Kikuo Ibe, creator of the legendary â€Å"shock-resistantâ€Â� timepiece. These artists will create limited-edition one-off designs for â€Å"Shock The Worldâ€Â� Tour 2009 that will not be reproduced for sale.The â€Å"Shock The Worldâ€Â� project also includes the launch of the webzine, which launched in mid-June with collaborators SUBCREW, :phunk and nabiis guest-blogging on the site, along with the G-Shock Tokyo headquarters team. Nike Blazer Mid 73 - All Court Prem

Here’s a look at another interesting twist on the Nike Blazer. This Blazer Mid 73 All Court Premium edition boasts some interesting touches not usually seen on the model. Aside from using premium materials like the reptile-looking Black upper, these kicks also sport a mesh tongue, metal eyelet rings and most noticeably, a thick Black rubber toecap. The shoe also features Tour Yellow accents on the midsole stripe, tongue label and speckled laces. The look of this Blazer is then finished off by a Black suede Swoosh, Grey midsole and banana graphics on the ankle section of both heels. There is nothing official on a release at the moment, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted. Puma x Sergio Rossie, Fall 2009 | C

Puma collaborates with Italian shoe designer Sergio Rossie in fashioning two specific silhouettes respectively based on the low-top “Clyde� and “First Round� high-top.  Both models are donned in black, white, blue, leather, and suede to create a consisten look throughout the two models.
