Nike SB - Zoom Air Paul Rodriguez I

Nike SB has launched the newest signature shoe from arguably the world’s top skater, Paul Rodriguez, the Nike SB Zoom Air P.Rod III and to celebrate the release of P.Rod’s third signature shoe from Nike SB, a commercial/video was filmed to honor the city in which Paul grew up in, Los Angeles, with a little bit of help from another one of LA’s very own, Ice Cube, and his song “It Was A Good Day”. This has got to be one of the best skate commercials ever filmed and produced. PUMA - Giant Easy Rider III (3)

Back in January of this year, a mysterious package from PUMA arrived at doorsteps of several “key influencers” of the industry, including us here at Freshness.  It was none other than a Giant PUMA Clyde, all US Size 45 of it, as a fun novelty gift for the New Year.  Just last week, another mysterious package from PUMA arrived.  It yielded another Giant, this time, its the PUMA Easy Rider III.  Announced in 1978 and arrived in the marketplace in 1979, the Easy Rider, along with the PUMA Fast Runner, were among the first major entries into the running footwear category for PUMA.  Its “spring struts” outsole and extended backsole design allows runners to maximize their natural running motions.  When the distance running craze tapered off in the mid-80s, Easy Rider III, like the Clyde, became a favorite among urban trendsetters.  Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, PUMA created a limited number of the Giant Easy Rider III.  Each constructed from the same identical materials of leather and suede as its “normal” counterpart. Puma Sky III Low Women’s – Whit

Since the Puma Sky II Hi was met with success, Puma has released its latest model, the Puma Sky III in a women’s lowtop. This particular pair is featured in a white/blue mist/black colorway, utilizing a patent leather upper in various colors such as grey, blue mist, and pink. “SKYIII” is printed in an outline of yellow on the black suede panel. The white midsole sports the Puma logo next to “contact.” The Sky III promises to be another popular choice, and is available now on the Puma Australia website. Via SF. close

Mountain Dew - Green Label Art Volu

To coincide with the arrival of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week here in New York City, Mountain Dew debuted this year’s Green Label Art project yesterday evening in SoHo.  Hosted by etnies Showroom Gallery on Greene Street, the bi-level exhibit saw hundreds of well wishers. Featuring Volume III of Green Label Art, with art contributions from CLAW money. Jeff McMillan, Nathan Cabrera, Stephen Bliss, and UPSO. Highlighted are the special aluminum bottles, the detailed artworks adorning each, along with special prizes in an under-the-cap sweepstakes, currently taking place. The reception also saw San Francisco-base artist PUSHEAD in person and several limited edition prints for sale.The Mountain Dew - Green Label Art Volume III Exhibition will be in place and open to public for the duration of 2 weeks.
