Nike Air Trainer III - Medicine Bal

Nike Air Trainer III - Transformers

Back in 2007, Nike created a Transformers edition of the Air Trainer III to coincide with the release of the first live-action movie, and while the shoe was relatively well-received, this sample version would have made them so much more legit. To the casual glance, this look-see sample is not all that different from the version that was released, but a closer look reveals one glaring difference. Apparently, when the shoe was originally designed, it featured a large Autobots logo on the tongue of the right shoe. Due to legal matters, Nike was forced to remove the logo before the shoe was released, but now this sample has surfaced to show us all what we missed out on. The good news is that if you are a size 9 and you’re ready to drop some dough on them, this sample pair is available now on eBay. Nike Air Trainer III - Transformers

Remember these? Nike dropped them to go along with the Transformers movie that dropped a few years ago. Well every sneaker has a sample and alot of times that sample is slightly different making them even that much more special. These Transformer Air Trainer III’s have one glaring difference in the design and that is the huge Autobots logo on the right tongue. Nike had to pull the design element due to legal issues but now for your viewing pleasure photos have surfaced. Air Trainers are serious business these days and the Nike folks continuously work hard churning out another Air Trainer III dubbed the nickname ‘Medicine Ball’. The brownish-orange colorway works perfect on this model and makes another classic Trainer sneaker. Dropping this fall with a $110 price tag this is one that can’t be beat. Via: TSG close

The Nike Air Trainer III â€Å"Transformersâ€Â� pays tribute to the cars transforming into robots to save the world. So does that make us a target of the Decepticons for life? The Transformers movie is such a unifying concept that both the young ones and the young once band together to watch the movie.Hopefully the response to the Nike Air Trainer III â€Å"Transformersâ€Â� sneakers will also be the same. These sneakers are produced by Nike following the color scheme of Optimus Prime who is the well-meaning Autobot Commander.The Nike Air Trainer III â€Å"Transformersâ€Â� sneaker makes use of leather in various colorways of red, blue and silver as well as 3M patent materials. A similar sneaker was created by Nike in 2007 in time for the first movie but it was faced with legal impediments so the appealing large Autobot logo on the tongue has been removed. close
