STPL x Airwalk ‘Terrain’- Payle

Jeff Staple and his STPL brand are responsible for some highly sought after and much discussed sneakers with companies such as Nike, New Balance and Fila, remember those Staple x Fila Ninety6 sneakers?One of Jeff’s latest projects includes a collaboration with Airwalk on a lineup of footwear for men and women which is to be sold exclusively at Payless. When news first surfaced about this acouple months ago a lot of people were shocked, not at the fact hes collaborating with Airwalk cause we have seen the Star Trek x STPL x Airwalk collaboration before, but mainly shocked due to the fact it was for a line to be sold at Payless. We’re just gonna say business is business and leave it at that.With that being said we give you a first hand look at one of the STPL x Airwalk sneakers which will be sold at Payless. This high top design known at the Terrain is one of four models which Jeff Staple has designed as part of the Airwalk lineup for Payless. They feature a brown upper with a black midsole and a black Airwalk running man logo on the side of the upper. Surprisingly there isnt much Staple branding on the sneakers themselves. STPL x Airwalk ‘Terrainâ€â

Here’s something cool from Jeff Staple. His brand is known for collaborating with companies to produce highly sought after pieces that are either too expensive or too exclusive for some people. So what does that young sneakerhead who loves STPL but just cant afford or find it do? Well now they can go down to their local Payless and pick up a pair of Terrain’s. STPL and Airwalk team up on this line to be sold exclusively at Payless and they put one of the best models that the store has seen on its racks together. The brown skate shoe is accompanied by red and black and modestly branded with STPL and Airwalk logo’s. While the release dates remain unknown we do know that there will be 4 designs for men and 4 for women and each will retail at around $50. Via Sneakerobession close

STPL x Airwalk Terrain

Yesterday we took a look at the History of Jeff Staple Pigeon Collabs. Today, another of Staple’s latest works has surfaced.The STPL x Airwalk Terrain may hit retailers later this year. Priced at around $50, these will be sold exclusively through Payless Shoes. No surprise, as we predicted that we would see Payless exclusives last year when news broke that Jeff was teaming up with Airwalk. Many of you predicted ridicule to those camping outside of Payless. STPL x Airwalk - Payless Collection

The other day we gave you an exclusive look at the STPL x Airwalk ‘Terrain’ part of the upcoming Payless Collection and now we can provide you with a couple more shots of the models being released in the lineup. Jeff Staple reports that the collection is set to release very soon and that some Payless retailers already have the sneakers on their shelves and ready to go. Jeff gives us a look at some of the styles designed for the STPL x Airwalk - Payless Collection including the Terrain we already showed you, The Gambit, the 50/50, the Heaven Slip-On and the Terrain in an Orange/Purple colorway which will be released for the ladies.This still does not include a look at every style in the collection.
