Nothing represents the mystical forces of nature than the fantastical Bigfoot. Also, if Bigfoot was real, we are sure nothing is better equipped against the cold than this cryptic creature too.Thus, it is metaphorically befitting that outdoor gear company, The North Face, had geared up with San Francisco artist, Bigfoot One to create an exclusive collection of merchandise based on some of the company’s classic items. The Balaclava Hoodie, Venture Shell Jacket and Hotshot Backpack are all dressed in signature Bigfoot One illustrations of the creature and greens. Also, a special tee in a Bigfoot inspired font rallied all the “Never Stop Exploring”. The North Face x atmos - Scoop Jack

With a good working relationship with the outdoor giant The North Face, atmoshave just released their 12th collaboration project. They have once again used the Scoop jacket model in an atmos like colorful finish adding pop aesthetics to the otherwise basic jacket design. With two tone split from the top and the bottom sections of the jacket in sacks blue/blue or purple/blue color combinations. Both jackets feature red inner lining as well as The North Face logo on the chest. The North Face X Bigfoot - The Nort

If you passed by The North Face store in Soho yesterday on Prince and Wooster, you might have seen a burly man with wild hair crouched in front of a large painting of some ape-like humanoid wreaking havoc upon a city, godzilla-style. The painting would have looked familiar and you might have wondered if it was by the famed San Francisco artist, Bigfoot. Putting that doubt to rest, it was Bigfoot painting in person at the private event for The North Face Bigfoot Collection.Previously released as an Asia exclusive collaboration collection, the capsule collection of tees, hoodie, windbreaker, duffel and backpack is now available in the US at The North Face Soho store. The collection features classic The North Face items dressed up in Bigfoot’s signature art work in earthy green and brown hues.Also available with the collection are special edition Bigfoot/Laken water bottles that are sold for donation to the City of New York Parks and Recreation, the Partnerships for Parks Foundation. Other than water bottles, the art that Bigfoot worked on live in the store display window will also be auctioned off with proceeds going to the Catalyst Program of Partnership for Parks.Accordin close

For snowboarders and skiers out there, the season of powder begins as slopes start to rev their lifts and open doors to the public. While many resorts and slopes are not yet open, we are pretty certain many are watching the weather conditions with hawk-like focus so avid shredders can be the first to hit the slopes this season. To make all the monitoring and mindful scrutiny easier, The North Face released Snow Report 2.0 today. Snow Report 2.0 is the first to aggregate topical and resort related information from twitter feeds into one single application for easy viewing. A new function added to the updated app is the Push Notification function that alerts users of snowfalls at their favorite resorts at 24, 48 and 72 hour intervals. Also, higher resolution trail maps and avalanche advisories are also made available. The North Face - GTX Climb Light In

Plaid has always had its place in people’s wardrobes, but this year, the classic pattern had somehow managed to shed its image as staple and come into the fashion spotlight.
