Nike Air Max 95 – Penny Edition â

2009 was a big comeback year for the Penny Hardaway signature line from Nike with the OG Retros and the introduction of the Air 1/2 Cent. In addition to the actual Penny kicks, we also saw some other models like the Hyperize and Blazer get some Penny treatment, and now we get a look at an upcoming 2010 model that keeps the trend going. We already know that the Air Penny III will be re-releasing this year, but this time around, it’s the Air Max 95 that gets an Air Penny makeover courtesy of a Black/Royal/White colorway with the added bonus of a Lil’ Penny illustration on the insole. Nike Air Max 95 â€" Penny Edition

The Penny Hardaway color way is not only fun to say but its also fun to see applied to other models. The Air Max 95 is an unexpected candidate for such a make over but weirder things have happened and besides when it ends up looking this good who’s complaining?The black/white/royal blue color way appears in place of the gradient greys that normally make up the shoes upper by making use of a black mudguard/midsole combo. The royal blue is layered in between the grey and white layers while also appearing in the visible air sole and 3M is used on the heel tab. The shoe looks to be made of leather and nubuck and is set to release around June. By then more images and info will be available but for now lets debate the finer points of this model. Nike Air Max 95 - Air Penny Sample

Here is a preview on what to expect from Nike Air Max 95 for this year. Bringing back the Orlando Magic-inspired kicks, the “Air Penny� features a Black upper with White, Royal Blue and Grey strips on the side through the heel, plus a reflective 3M vertical strip. The Black mesh midfoot creates a variation and a base to the loop lace holders. Li’l Penny appears on the insole. Sample as it is being said, this designl is not yet available. Nike Air Flight Max II – Penny Ha

Nike Air Flight Max II - Penny Hard

The Nike Air Flight Max II released during Penny Hardaway’s sojourn with the Phoenix Suns. Nike naturally sought Penny, renowned for lacing some of the craziest kicks in the League, to rep their product. Therefore they created this Home PE for Hardaway. The purple spandex sock liner sits below a TPU exoskeleton. Each component combines to provide proper fit and stability.These photos are of a deadstock sample. We have not heard word of any retro releases of this shoe in the future.
