Who tuned in to the Manny Pacquiao vs Miguel Cotto fight Friday night? Better yet, who copped the latest Manny Pacquiao x Nike Trainer 1 which released on Saturday, the same day Pac-Man laid out Cotto with a TKO 55seconds into the 12th round to claim the WBO Welterweight Title? With Manny’s popularity growing at a tremendous pace the fans must of been dying to get their hands on anything Manny has to do with cause the sneakers sold out pretty much within minutes after going online.We aren’t quite sure yet what the deal is with these but as it appears Manny and Nike have taken the Trainer 1 and ditched the Free sole and Max Air unit in the heel and replaced it with a Air Max 360 unit. As you can see though the shoes sport the exact same Philippines inspired colorway and designed featured on the most recent Manny Pacquiao x Nike Air Trainer 1. Your eyes do not deceive you. The Pacquiao Trainer 1 is playing host to the Air Max 360 sole in a hybrid match that looks good enough to become an all around general release. We showed you the Pacquiao Trainer 1’s in several color ways but this is the first time we have seen it with this sole. No word on why these even exist or if they will be released but chances are they are a sample or a pair made exclusively for Manny. Boy are they fresh. Via SC close

SOLE COLLECTOR x NIKE AIR MAX TRAINER 1: KicksThe folks over at Sole Collector have hooked up with Nike and designed a limited edition pair of Nike Air Max Trainer 1s. The colorway of Aquamarine/Citron/White, was directly inspired by the original Air Trainer II color-way worn by Bo Jackson. Bo wore the shoes as part of his Bo Knows campaign back in 1989. SC and Nike brought the collaboration about as part of SC there in-depth look into the world of Nike Trainers. Here is an excerpt from SC:When the opportunity presented itself to help create a Nike Training shoe, there was no way I couldnâ€â„¢t look to the kicks that started it all for me as an inspiration. The Aquamarine and Citron colors of the Sole Collector Air Max Trainer 1 come straight from the accents along the most well-known colorway of the original Air Trainer SC II â€" the White/Cement Grey/Aquamarine/Citron pair that Bo wore in the original print ads and commercials.Although these will not be available at retail, they are putting together a plan to get a few pairs out to their members. Sole Collector x Nike Air Max Train

No strangers to sneaker collaborations, Sole Collector will help celebrate the launch of their new Nike Training feature with the introduction of a very special version of the Nike Trainer 1. In addition to the wild Aqua/Volt Air Trainer SC II-inspired color scheme, this new take on the Trainer 1 brings with it some interesting new tweaks to the model. Not only does the shoe feature a very Trainer-ish midfoot strap, but also sports a full 360 Air bag, similar to the recent Pacman version. The SC Trainer 1 also flaunts a ‘Sole Knows� tongue label with an embroidered image of the Air Trainer SC II on the inside portion of the right tag. As you can see, there will also be a matching Sole Knows t-shirt, but as you might have guessed, this stuff will not be easy to get. A limited quantity will be handed out to SC friends and family with a few others to be given to SC readers and forum members. Sole Collector x Nike Air Max Train

When the crew at Sole Collector get involved in a collaboration the final outcome is usually always dope. The last Sole Collector collaboration we took a look at involved a Nike Air Penny II Retro, and now we have some shots of their latest project with Nike, this time on the Air Max Trainer 1.When Nick DePaula from Sole Collector was presented with the chance to collaborate on the Trainer 1 he says “there was no way I couldnâ€â„¢t look to the kicks that started it all for me as an inspiration.â€� Therefore Nick took ques from the original Air Trainer SC II in the White/Cement Grey/Aquamarine/Citron colorway that Bo wore in the original print ads and commercials. Instead of doing an exact replica though of the original colorway Nick swapped it around and used the accent colors from the Air Trainer SC II as the base colors on the Sole Collector x Nike Air Max Trainer 1. Adding there own little personal touch to it is a pair of tongue tags which read “Sole Knowsâ€� in tribute to the hugely popular “Bo Knowsâ€� campaign. Another nice detail on the sneakers is a graphic of the original Air Trainer SC II included on the backside of the tongue tag.Unfortuna close
