Nike Air Zoom Brave III Preview

With all the hoopla surrounding the Hyperdunk and its offspring, the Hyperize and Hypermax, some other Nike Basketball models tend to get lost in the mix. The Zoom Air Brave III is an interesting new offering that warrants a closer look. While it doesn’t appear to be based on an older model, the shoe definitely seems to have a late 90’s look, which for some will be vey welcome. Aside from the retro look, the shoe features some new technology like Zoom Air and Lunar materials. For starters, the Air Zoom Brave III will be available in three colorways, all using a white base with different accent colors. Nike Air Zoom Brave III Preview

Nike likes to sneak new models in under that radar of exclusives only sneaker heads. They also like to introduce new materials in the process. The current model in question is the Nike Zoom Air Brave III. The basketball shoe that reads like a cross trainer hosts an all white leather upper with 1 tone solid accenting. As the name denotes the shoe includes Zoom technology and also Nike is sneaking in Lunar materials. Expect to see these 3 colorways at various Nike retailers later this year. Via Sneakernews close

Nike Air Zoom Talache 1 Mid - Royal

The Nike Air Zoom Talache is something of a misfit in the Swoosh catalog.  It’s not exactly a performance athletic sneaker despite its comfy Zoom Air cushioning, but then again, it’s not as smooth and laid back as most lifestyle sneakers.  However you want to classify it, the Air Zoom Talache 1 Mid from Nike’s ‘Royale Collection’ pictured above is among the nicest we’ve seen.  This pair features an all black tumbled leather upper, accented by six dots on the rear quarter.  It has a slightly different sole than most Talaches, wit this one using vulcanized rubber and eschewing the typical heel ‘zoom’ script in favor of a Swoosh.  There’s no word yet on the Royale Collection’s release dates, but you can cop a sample in US men’s size 9 today from OSneaker.Read the rest of Nike Air Zoom Talache 1 Mid - Royale Collection© Sneaker News, 2009. |Permalink |No comment |Add todel.icio.us close

Nike Air Zoom Talache 1 Mid seems to fit in this odd niche between performance sneakers, and the recently burgeoning category of classy sneaker boots. The Air Zoom technology gives these lush black tumbled leather kicks Zoom Air Cushioning comfort and the wearer the freedom to perform a dash on the streets. Instead of the usual “swoosh”, Nike has swapped the signature check out for “Nike” in Zoom script embroidered at the hell. The entire shoe has a gentlemanly elegance in soft black and it features six grey dots on the side real panel.
