Nike Zoom Soldier III (3) – King

LeBron’s King City Classic All-Star Game brings together some of the country’s finest college recruits. The ‘09 competition (it happened back in July) unveiled a new version of the Nike Zoom Soldier III (3). Distinguished by its patent-heavy upper, the Nike LeBron product features a predominantly black upper with splashes of gold along the midsole and at the heel. The midfoot straps are toned in red with black accents. There is no word on whether the Nike Zoom Soldier III (3) “King City Classic PE� will hit stores, but we’ll update when more pertinent information hits the surface. close

Ballers at LeBron Jamesâ€â„¢ King City Classic were seen in some really fresh kicks. The red on black colorway would seem Jordan like if it werenâ€â„¢t for the gold stripe. Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III - King

Some of the nation’s best high school basketball players recently gathered at Cleveland State’s Wolstein Center for the King City Classic tournament. Aside from the high quality of basketball being played, the other major attraction was the Zoom Soldier III PE’s that were created exclusively for participants to wear at the event. This version of LeBron’s secondary shoe features a black patent leather upper with red straps across the mid section and some metallic gold accents sprinkled throughout. It’s not likely that these will ever hit retail, but we’ll let you know if any pop up on eBay. Nike Zoom Soldier III (3) King City

Several months ago LeBron James hosted the King City Classic in Akron, Ohio. The all-star game, featuring many of the world’s brightest young basketball talents, received its own Nike Basketball PE (Player Exclusive). More particularly, this all-patent Nike Zoom Soldier III (3) in black/varsity red/old gold was given to the game’s participants. The shoe features Zoom Air underneath and two midfoot straps for a ride that’s comfortable and supportive enough for a King.
