Nike Zoom Kobe Dream Season - Black

Ok, so LeBron may have edged him out for season MVP honors, but other than that, it really was a “dream season� for Kobe Bryant, and now he will get another Nike signature model to help him to remember it. A few weeks ago, we gave you a look at this black/purple version of Kobe’s secondary shoe, the Zoom Dream Season, and now another colorway has emerged, as well as some additional looks at the first pair. Joining the black Dream Season will also be a white pair with a very simple white on white upper and some minimal gold accents. Rather than using the carbon fiber materials like the first pair shown, the white Dream Season will use a more traditional white leather upper. Similar to the black edition, the white kicks will also feature Kobe’s signature on one side of the heel and a “KB24″ logo on the other. Nike Zoom Barcelona - Air Force 180

So far, 2009 has been a good year for Nike Basketball with the LeBron and Kobe shoes both getting high praise and the Hyperize and Hypermax picking up right where the Hyperdunk left off. Now it’s time to take a look at 2010 and the wonders that are in store for the Nike b-ball line. Helping to lead the charge will be the Zoom Barcelona, which like many of the other new models, is a hybrid of some classic styles. The Zoom Barcelona takes its most obvious cues from the Air Force 180, but there are also some additional elements from the Huarache as well, giving the shoe something of an early 90’s look, but with a contemporary twist. The name, Zoom Barcelona, indicates that these kicks may be considered some kind of tribute to the original Dream Team, who cruised to the gold in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. With the release of the Air Max LeBron VII around the corner, it looks like the last hurrah of last season’s LeBron line will come courtesy of three Zoom Soldier III colorways. Last week, we let you know that these kicks were dropping at select retailers in limited quantities, but not many further release details were known. Now it appears that the St. Vincent St. Mary and Christ the King colorways, as well as the Think Pink edition will be hitting the Harlem House of Hoops location next Tuesday, so don’t get caught napping if you’ve been waiting for these.
