Nike Air Max Tailwind 92 – White

Nike Air Max Tailwind 92 â€" Sample

We haven’t seen much of this retro’d runner and that does not a happy sneaker head make. The Tailwind 92 is a very solid model that could serve as a stand in for a few pair of Air Max but Nike didn’t really give it just dues this year. So it goes without saying that when we spotted this Scuba blue sample that it warmed our hearts. And while its not quite the correct season for these you gotta admit they sure are beautiful. Nike Air Tailwind - Fall 2009 Sampl

This fall will see a new Nike Air Tailwind. The black mesh upper is a canvas for metallic patent red and grey. The white swoosh is a nice touch making this far from the usual running shoe, yet still a great sneaker worth copping. These are expected for a general release sometime after September. Nike Air Max 2010 Tailwind – Yell

The Nike Tailwind is the oldest Air Max model in Nike’s storied history. Many recognized the Nike Air Max 1 as the first shoe to feature the visible air unit, but it was actually the Tailwind that deserves the credit, as it originally debuted in 1979.  In 1992, the Nike Tailwind returned, and several sequels followed, despite not receiving the popularity and accolades that the Air Max Line did because theTailwind was geared toward performance running rather than urban fashion.Almost a third of a century after its release, the Nike Tailwind lives on in the form of the Nike Tailwind 2010. It features a truncated full-length air unit, similarly seen on the Nike Air Turbulence. It features a mesh upper with a synthetic support unit and a supportive heel, like on the Air Max 2009. The 2010 Tailwind also seems to be Flywire-free, which certainly separates it from the pack. in addition to this yellow/black colourway, a neon green/black and red/black colourway has also been spotted. Nike Air Max 2010 Tailwind â€" Yell

Way back in 1979, Nike released a running shoe which is intended to gear up runners with ultimate performance in the form of the Tailwind. Unfortunately, only a few have recognized it, in fact it was the first runner to own the visible Air Unit but it received denial due to the popularity of another model, the Air Max 1. However, the Tailwind made a come back in1992 followed by several sequels. Today, it is sitting in front of us in a bright colored Yellow/Gery/Black combination featuring a Black mesh side panel with diamond-patterned synthetic support unit on the heel identical to the Air Max 2009. With the vivid-colored toebox, collar, and tongue, we can see an indication of art and fashion. The Swoosh and inner liner are done up in Grey while the supportive heel panel features an outline Air Max branding. Since it is a runner, expect the Tailwind to serve its purpose more than getting into the trend line. Aside from the Yellow/Grey/Black colorway, a Green/Black and Red/Black are also available, all for Fall 2010 release. close
