Nike Air 3 “Kevin Garnett”

Last year Kevin Garnett said in an interview that being on the cover of NBA 2K9 was more special that having signature shoes. While it may be a toss up which is better, one thing is for certain, KG had some pretty decent sneakers during his career - especially with Nike.  (see feature)Nike and Garnett are no longer, but that doesn’t mean that the shoes he wore will not return. Coming in October is the Nike Air 3 which is pretty much the Nike Air Garnett III minus any KG branding. This colorup is probably the most recognizable of the model and was worn by Garnett during his days with the Timberwolves. Nike SB P-Rod Zoom Air 3 - Aquamari

Nike Air Max 3 – Fall 2009 Releas

The Nike Air Max 3, formerly known as the Air Garnett III, is back in action, with the anticipated OG colorway hitting Nike retailers earlier this week. Nearly identical to the original KG signature model, the retro version only lacks the branding of it’s ex-associate, the tongue now displaying the word ‘Basketball’. Check your local Nike shops if you’re interested in grabbing a pair, but keep in mind that the model sports a retail price tag of $140. close

Nike Air Garnett 3 - Now Available

Here we feature a pair of Nike Air Garnett 3’s which recently made a comeback. The only change is that since Kevin Garnett is now with Adidas, they have been renamed the Nike Air Max 3.They are shown here in their original colorway, consisting of a black and blue design. Nike Air Max 3 Available Now

After popping up early on eBay the Nike Air Max 3 has officially landed at retailers across the country. For those not in the know the Air Max 3 is actually what many of us know as the Air Garnett 3, the old signature sneaker of Kevin Garnett.
