LIVE 5:18pm estAs we continue to tour Akron as part of the LeBron James Innovation & Inspiration Summit, we made a stop at St. Vincent St Mary High School were we had a chance to wear-test the Air Max LeBron VII. At SVSM, basketball coach Dru Joyce gave us an interactive session warming up in the new sneaker which include a few pick up games. LeBron joined one of the teams just for fun and gave us a preview of his abilities, but because we were all playing we were unable take any photos of the action. Air Max LeBron VII Wear Test @ St.

Live 5:42pm estAs a very special treat to attendees of the Nike Air Max LeBron summit, the tour made a stop at Akron’s St. Vincent St. Mary High School where LeBron first made a splash as one of the most highly regarded high school phenoms of all-time. St. Vincent St. Mary head coach, Dru Joyce, who just won another State Championship with last year’s squad, was on hand to take members of the media through the locker room and onto the court where King James’s incredible reign first started. Media members suited up in full Fighting Irish uniforms, complete with a crispy pair of Air Max LeBron VII samples to wear-test. Christmas Day Nike Basketball Face-

Marquee matchups on Christmas Day have been an NBA staple for years now, and this year’s big showdown should be one for the ages. The NBA’s two biggest stars (not to mention Nike’s) will go head to head for the first time this season on Friday, and besides the obvious basketball rivalry, there will be another key face-off taking place on the Staples Center floor. The battle of the kicks will officially be underway at 5pm Eastern time as LeBron breaks out his special Christmas Air Max LeBron VII’s and Kobe debuts the Chaos edition of the Zoom Kobe V for the first time in an NBA game. Regardless of who comes out victorious, we’re the real winners because both pairs will be hitting retail the following day. The Christmas LeBron VII and Chaos Kobe V will be available at Niketown and House of Hoops, with the LeBron shoe also dropping at a few other select Nike retailers. Nike Zoom LeBron VII (7) - Preview

Last month, we gave you a sneak peek at a black on black GS sample of the Zoom LeBron VII and now we have some additional looks at a few more colorways that you might see when these kicks begin to hit stores later this year. It is unknown if these are the final versions of the shoe or if they will be official colorways, but either way, you can finally get a closer look at the eagerly anticipated sneaker. Rather than going the flashy route, the Zoom LeBron VII looks to have a pretty basic basketball aesthetic with nice touches like Flywire, patent leather and a full-sole Air Max unit. Not only are there three different colorways previewed here, but each pair sports some unique characteristics from the other two besides the obvious color differences.For starters, there is a white/navy/gold pair that features Flywire on the upper and some metallic gold accents. Next up is a possible “Dunkman� inspired edition that uses a black and light green color scheme with Flywire also covering the upper, but placed at some different angles than on the previous colorway. Nike Zoom LeBron VI Low - White - B

Back in April, we showed you a preview of this fresh Zoom LeBron VI Low colorway and now they are finally starting to hit stores. The shoe uses the same color combo as the recently released Baltic Blue Zoom Soldier III, but this model has a much more casual feel to it. At a quick glance, these kicks bear a very close resemblance to the OG Air Max 93 colorway, which may be coincidental, but it definitely doesn’t hurt the cause. While this may technically be a basketball model, this version will surely look just as good as a street shoe as it does on the court. This Zoom LeBron VI Low has already dropped at select Nike retailers, so keep an eye out if you’ve been waiting for these.
