We first gave you a look at this intriguing hybrid model all the way back in January, and now that the black version has already hit stores, we turn our attention to another upcoming colorway of the Air Max 90 Current Huarache. While this version may not have the collaboration appeal of the upcoming HUF or DQM editions, they still make quite an impact thanks to the bold solid red color scheme. Some subtle contrast is included on the white section of the midsole, as well as on the laces, lining and Flywire. With the DC sneaker comes an Artist Edition of course. The nationâ€â„¢s capital gets love with an Eagle and Crest design blazon on the sneakerâ€â„¢s upper. As LeBron’s More Than A Game World Tour moves from city to city, we’ve been giving you a look at the artist series editions of the Air Max LeBron VII from each stop on the tour. By now, you’ve already seen the 1 of 1 customs from Chicago and Washington D.C. and now it’s time to check out a version that should be more near and dear to LeBron’s heart. Today, the More Than A Game tour makes its way to Akron, Ohio where LeBron grew up and first gained national attention as a high school phenom.Local Akron tattoo artist, James Hayden, who has actually had the pleasure of inking up LeBron in the past, was enlisted to create the Akron installment of the artist series. Being that Akron is where LeBron called home for so long, the theme of this custom Air Max LeBron VII is “family,� which is written in script across the side of the right shoe. “Loyalty� is scrawled across the left shoe, with additional touches like a lion’s head and a crown on the toe areas and a nod to the 330 area code on the inner half of the left shoe.When asked about the chance to create this special tribute to LeBron and the city of Akron, Hayden had this close

We have been keeping you up to date with all the latest on the Artist Series editions of the Air Max LeBron VII from the More Than A Game World Tour. So far, King James and the tour have hit a few U.S. cities like Chicago, Washington D.C. and Akron and now it’s on to Asia where LeBron will make stops in three Chinese cities this week. The other day, we gave you a sneak preview of the Artist Series LeBron VII’s from China, and now it’s time to take a closer look at the Beijing edition. The shoe was hand-painted by artist, Le Quiqui, who has given the shoe a shiny gold and orange look to represent for Beijing, complete with nods to the architecture and tradition of the city, as well as some Chinese proverbs and more personal homages to LeBron. You probably already saw the Beijing offering to the Air Max LeBron VII More Than A Game World Tour Artist Series on Monday, and now it’s time to take a look at the Shenyang edition that was presented to King James today. We showed you a sneak preview of the Chinese city artist creations last week, but now we get a detailed look at some of the finer points of the creation. The Shenyang version of the Air Max LeBron VII was designed by local artist, Ray Lei, who has not only incorporated some culturally influenced graphics and styles into the design, but there are also numerous touches that hold significance to LeBron’s life and basketball career.
