Nike x DJ Clark Kent - Air Force 1

In part because his wanted his fans to get the most bang for the buck, and of course, to up the ante on Eddie Cruz’s Air Force 1, our friend DJ Clark Kent outlined his very own Nike AF1 design to incorporate 3 leather elements, all in deep earth-tone hues (references of the season).   Start off with a ostrich-print leather as the heel panel, followed by a mid-panel in suede, and finished with rich burgundy full-grain toe guard.  Added accents include eyelets, heel tab, and the ubiquitous Nike Swoosh, all in burgundy colorway as well. Then finally, a toe box in abrasion resistance mesh. DJ Clark Kent shows us his design aesthetic on these AF1’s, showcasing three different leather materials as well as a whole spread of earth tones. Everything from ostritch to suede is seen here, as well as a full grain on the toe. A bit of red is thrown into the mix with the burgundy Swoosh as well as a bit of mesh on the toe box. Taking que from the Hot Lave Nike Air Tech Challenge comes this Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium ‘08. Featuring a combination of leather and patent leather the Air Force Ones uses the popular splatter pattern which became popular on the Tech Challenge. The Air Force 1 Low is always a popular model and when you add premium materials to the upper it just gets better.
