He accomplished what many thought to be impossible, though just narrowly at last evening Men’s Final of Wimbledon. Said to be the longest Set in Wimbledon’s history since 1877, with icons such as Rod Laver, Manuel Santana, Bjorn Borg, Ilie Nastase, and the record holder Pete Sampras looking on,  Roger Federer edged out Andy Roddick 16-14 to take home the Wimbledon Title, his record breaking 15th Grand Slam Title. Both contenders for the Grand Slam Championship Title had much at stake. It was American Andy Roddick’s best finish since 4 years and his opportunity to take home his 2nd Grand Slam Title. As for the world’s #1 player, Roger Federer, it was his chance to re-write the record book and win his 15th Grand Slam title, something unthinkable just a few years ago. After a contentious battle of physical endurance and mental strength, both players had 2 Sets under his belt, with scores 5-7, 7-6, 7-6, 3-6. It came down to the Fifth and Final Set, when both escalate their command of slices and spins. In the end, a collection of unforced errors by Roddick opened up for Federer to claimed his spot on the record book with his 15th Grand Slam Title and as the most successful tennis player ever.In celebration of this monumental occasion, Nike instantly launched Love Fifteen – A Tribute To Roger Federer. Nike Shox R4 Flywire - Fall 2009
