Nike’s brand was built on the backs of the athlete’s they sponsored. Bo Jackson was one of the many who lent his image and integrity to the company and in return churned out some pretty kick ass kicks. In honor of this relationship Nike is dedicating a few kicks and colorways to the man who coined the phrase ‘Bo Knows’. This Kansas City Royals colored Blazer not only takes a page from Jackon’s baseball bat swinging days but also refrences the Nintendo Classic Tecmo Bowl. The pixelated sneaker rocks a two tone suede upper and a pretty ill tongue tag. Look for these to be on shelves sometime this fall. Bo Jackson Nike Blazer Hi Kansas Ci

Im really feelin these Nike Blazers, come to think of it these are probably one of the best looking blazer i have seen. This Bo-inspired Blazer High features a light blue/royal blue Royals color scheme with a mesh tongue and a solid blue midsole. The most noteworthy attributes, however, have to be the baseball Tecmo Bo character on the tongue label and the pixelated graphics that appear across the side of the upper.  These amazing Nike Blazers are set to release some time this fall. close

Nike - Fall/Winter 2009 - Blazer Hi

Out of the eleven models that can be anticipated for the new Fall/Winter 09 Nike Blazer Hi release, four of them we are previewing here are out-of-the-box creative yet very wearable. An fresh selection of materials and color combination are sported on these four models. We see a grey suede number with the signature Swoosh made out of perforations and the toe is put together by a vertical stitching of the grey suede and smooth leather that reminds us of a moccasin toe. The other models are much flashier and flamboyant as one sports a green reptile skin upper with red laces combination in a very Amazon jungle fashion; another is futuristic with a silver leather upper and contrasting yellow laces; last but not least from the four models we see is a techno blue number with white laces and royal purple accent. The styles we see for now are bright but diverse. Nike Womens Blazer Hi - Corduroy

The Blazer has been dropped in so many different colorways this season that it almost seems as if we are tapped out of options. Well just when you thought it was over they come back draped in corduroy just in time for the winter. The dark chorded upper is balanced out patent leather accents and pink trim. Factor in the colored eyelettes and plaid lining. No word on release yet but sources say they hit stores around Fall. Via TheShoeGame close

Nike WMNS Blazer Hi ‘Corduroy’

Thanks to TSG we can present all the ladies out there with a look at an upcoming Womens Nike Blazer Hi which Nike will be releasing as part of their Winter 2009 Collection.Using a upper which is constructed from corduroy the Nike Blazers feature a predominantly black colorway with accents of pink on the lace eye, toe cap, tongue tag, Nike branding on the heel and on the contrast stitching used for the Nike Swoosh. Speaking of the Nike Swoosh black leather is applied to that as well as to the lace panels, heel tab and the little piece of material resting about the black mid-sole. Wrapping up the sneakers is a red plaid pattern on the inner lining. Since this is set to be a winter release the use of plaid will fit right in with the cooler nights that will once again be upon us.
