At the Houston stop on the Heineken Red Star Soul Tour, Hip-Hop artists, Wale, Bun B, and T-Pain all made appearances in addition to performing for the packed house. Actor/comedian Brandon T. Jackson also made an apperance at the event. Wale, who has been known to be seen in various Nike shoes months before their release was spotted in a pair of the Nike Air Max III in White, the Air Max III is a Retro of the original Nike Air Garnett 3, the last signature made by Nike for Kevin Garnett. Nike Air Max LeBron VII & Zoom Sold

The players on the Fairfax High School basketball team may be some of the luckiest in the country. Nike has a history of hooking up the team with shoes from LeBron James’ signature line, so it’s no surprise that they’ve continued the trend this season. Their latest two are these Zoom Solder III and Air Max LeBron VII “Home� PEs.Both utilize a white leather upper with patent appearing on their respective toe areas. The Air Ma LeBron VII utilizes Flywire for its quarter panels with both yellow and dark red threads. The Swoosh and top eyelet are also done in team colors. “Fairfax� appears on the heel of this shoe, while it is stretched across the lower strap of the Soldier III. That shoe displays yellow contrast stitching and laces, as well as a red liner and outsole, to further denote it a special team-inspired color-up. Nike Air Max LeBron VIII (8) Teaser

BREAKING NEWS:With all the debate about what LeBron James will wear this postseason, you’ve probably been too busy to even speculate about what his next flagship shoe will look like. Well, commence to speculating, because here’s a little teaser for the upcoming Nike Air Max LeBron VIII. From the silhouette in Nike’s Holiday 2010 catalog, you can see that the AMLVIII is quite a bit like the AMLVII. Both feature 360 Max Air cushioning and the overall shape is very similar. The Eight will feature a heel pull that’s more like the Zoom LeBron VI than the ‘hidden’ one on the AML7, plus a tongue that exceeds all previous LeBrons in terms of height.
