Nike 112 Pack Expansion - Hyperdunk

Last summer, Nike released the DJ Clark Kent-designed 112 Pack, a collection of three classic Nike models, each reinterpreted with a super-fresh colorway and the use of Elephant print and 3M materials. The original pack consisted of an Air Force 1 Low, an Air Max 1 and an Air Trainer 1, and now it appears that two more Nike models will be joining the 112 family. The Nike Hyperdunk and the seldom seen Air Force 25 Low will also be receiving a 112 color scheme. The Air Force 25 keeps it pretty simple, using almost identical color blocking to the design of last year’s 112 Air Force 1, while the Hyperdunk version gets a little bolder thanks to a grey Elephant print upper with a black base and Volt Flywire and accents. The two new additions are rumored to possibly be an Asia exclusive, but hopefully a few pairs will make their way to the States. Stay tuned for more info and check out that 3M glow after the jump. Nike Air Max 95 – Comet + Slate

2009 has been a good year for Nike’s popular Air Max 95 model. After seeing a handful of re-releases in some of its most adored colorways, (’Neon’, ‘Freshwater’, ‘Chili’, and ‘Safety Orange’), we didn’t expect to see more of Nike’s mid-nineties staple any time soon.  Fortunately for us, the shoe will continue to see the light of day, taking on its popular “Comet” and “Slate” colorways for a new set of releases. No word on any specific release dates, but both models are expected to drop sometime in 2010.Via NikeTalk close

Nike Air Max 95 “Comet” + “Sl

This year, Nike has undoubtedly blessed us with classic colorways of the infamous Air Max 95. So far, Nike has unleashed the “Neon”, the “Fresh Water”, the “Chili” and the “Safety Orange”. However, if we deem those colorways ‘classic’, the Air Max 95’s that Nike will re-release next summer are nothing less than epic. During the summer of 2010, Nike will retro the Air Max 95 “Comet” and the Air Max 95 “Slate”. If you recall, these sneakers dropped in 2003 and 2005, respectively. Nike Vunk (GS) – Dunk + Air Max 9

There’s always a battle shopping for the little ones because of their reluctancy to like the stuff parents buy in their ongoing search for bargains.  In this case, instead of 2-for-1, youngster’s enjoy 2-in1.  Nike brings two of their most popular styles together in the form of the new Nike Vunk.  We gave a preview of these way back in April, and they are now hitting retailers.  The shoe holds the Dunk silhouette, but the mid panels and eyelets get the AM95 treatment.  This particular one, although not the exact same colorway, gives nods to probably the most famous 95 colorway – Grey/Neon Yellow.  Surprise the kiddies with these from Finishline.Read the rest of Nike Vunk (GS) – Dunk + Air Max 95 Hybrid© Sneaker News, 2009. |Permalink |No comment |Add todel.icio.us close

Nike Air Max Modular 95 SI + 98 SI

The Nike Air Classic BW was subject to a number of lab experiments in Beaverton, OR. It was hybridized with the classic Huarache to form the Nike B Huarache, and soon you’ll see the Nike Air BW Gen II. Here are new amalgamations to look forward to, as the BW is fused with the Nike Air Max 95 and the Nike Air Max Plus to form two “new” Air Max models, the Nike Air Max Modular 95 SI and the Air Max Modular 98 SI.The Nike Air Max Modular 95 SI takes the Classic BW upper and the rear air unit and tongue of the Air Max 95, while the Nike Air Max Modular 98 SI utilizes the AM+ design lines on the toe and the rear sole unit. Both are just the latest of Nike’s hybrid endeavors, so expect more on the way.
