Nike Air Flight Condor High - Summe

If you’re not already familiar with the Nike Air Flight Condor, the shoe was first released earlier this year as an updated lower cut version of the classic Flight ‘89. Now it appears that Nike has taken the design in the opposite direction, turning it into a stylish high-top. The Air Flight Condor High makes some other changes to the design of the upper, and in fact, aside from the midsole and tongue, the shoe bears very little resemblance to the Condor’s original source of influence. The Flight Condor High is already available in two colorways. One sports a white/black/red color scheme with additional sections of grey that appear to be covered by a Elephant print-like texture. The other colorway features a combination of grey/navy and metallic silver, giving it a much bolder look than the other version. Nike Air Zoom Brave III Preview

With all the hoopla surrounding the Hyperdunk and its offspring, the Hyperize and Hypermax, some other Nike Basketball models tend to get lost in the mix. The Zoom Air Brave III is an interesting new offering that warrants a closer look. While it doesn’t appear to be based on an older model, the shoe definitely seems to have a late 90’s look, which for some will be vey welcome. Aside from the retro look, the shoe features some new technology like Zoom Air and Lunar materials. For starters, the Air Zoom Brave III will be available in three colorways, all using a white base with different accent colors. Nike x Transformers : ‘Megatronâ€

words & images_Nick DePaulaTo celebrate the release of Transformers 2, Nike Basketball has teamed up with Hasbro for a fully licensed collaboration set that will feature three shoes, including the Zoom Sharkalaid, Zoom FP and Zoom Flight Club.The Zoom Flight Club, styled up in a colorway inspired by Transformers villain Megatron, features a clear shroud along the upper, with abrasion resistant panels along the toe, strap and heel. There’s also a neon grid lining pattern as well as a backpainted red window that houses the heel Zoom Air unit.Designed by Jason Petrie, the Zoom Flight Club combines the aesthetics of the Flight 89, Zoom Glove and Hyperflight. The shoes also come along with detailed packaging to tie back into the comic collecting world that has made Transformers one of the most popular franchises ever. Along the box, you’ll find original Hasbro graphics, a J-hook for hanging display and decoder profiles highlighting the robot’s powers.Releasing TOMORROW in limited quantities in Hong Kong, the Philippines, Taiwan and at the House Of Hoops here in the US, expect the Megatron Zoom Flight Club to retail for $125. close

Nike Air Zoom Brave III Preview

Nike likes to sneak new models in under that radar of exclusives only sneaker heads. They also like to introduce new materials in the process. The current model in question is the Nike Zoom Air Brave III. The basketball shoe that reads like a cross trainer hosts an all white leather upper with 1 tone solid accenting. As the name denotes the shoe includes Zoom technology and also Nike is sneaking in Lunar materials. Expect to see these 3 colorways at various Nike retailers later this year. Via Sneakernews close

Nike Basketball x Transformers II P

Last but definitely not least in the Nike Basketball X Transformers Pack comes the Megatron Zoom Flight Club which turns out to be a shoe that is very fit for a villian. The sneaker merges elements of the Flight 89, Zoom Glove and Hyperflight to give us a very mean looking industrial sihlouette. The upper has a transparent overlay that protects a wide holed mesh upper with a rugged sythetic toecap. Just like the other parts of this pack the shoe comes in packaging that mimic’s the toys original boxing for a very cool peice of nostalgia. These are set to drop tomorrow in limited supply to Hong Kong, the Phillippines, Taiwan and a few US House of Hoops accounts.Via Solecollector close
