Nike Air Griffey Max 1 - Black - Wh

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 - Black / Or

We have obtained some new photos of the Black/Orange Nike Air Griffey Max 1 which we showed you back in May. We originally said they were black and red but that is in fact an error which was due to a poorly calibrated computer monitor displaying incorrect colors. Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Black White

The Griffey Air Max 1 is one of those shoes that was so far ahead of its time when it dropped that it became a template for later models. This can be evidenced in the retro treatment its getting and how it looks set against the rest of the new releases. We have seen a few new colorways pop up but they go full on retro with the release of the black/white/total orange. Nike recently brought back Ken Griffey Jr.’s Nike Air Griffey Max 1 in black/white/red to retailers worldwide. The shoe features a black leather upper with black nubuck accents along the white midsole. Air Max units in the heel and forefoot provide ample cushioning while an ankle strap with “24″ printed on it offers support on all of those base stealin’ maneuvers.
