We all knew it would only be a matter of time before the 61 Points edition of the Zoom Kobe IV would find their way either to retail stores, or at the very least, eBay. Well, the bad news is that there are no plans at the moment to release these to the public, but the good news is that the first pair to pop up is actually a game-worn pair that Kobe rocked on court during Game 1 of this year’s NBA Finals. It seems that the kicks were given to Lakers guard, Jordan Farmar, who then gave them to his brother Mike, who then sold them to this eBay seller. It seems that the story is legit and the kicks have not been cleaned in anyway, leaving them in the battle-worn condition they were in after they came off Kobe’s feet at the end of the Lakers’ Game 1 Finals win over Orlando. Sports collector’s items don’t get much better than this, so if you are a Kobe fan, you might want to consider breaking the bank for a shot at owning his game-worn size 13.5’s. Nike Zoom Kobe IV - NBA Finals 61 P

Not too many sneakerheads will be surprised to hear that the home and away 61 Points editions of the Zoom Kobe IV, worn by the Black Mamba during the NBA Finals, will be dropping at House of Hoops this summer. It was originally reported that these would not be released for retail, but after the big response, it had to be a no-brainer for Nike to give the people what they want. To the delight of many, the kicks will be released in both the white and black colorways, complete with gold scribbled text all over. The white “home” version will drop on Wednesday, July 22nd, with the black “away” kicks coming a couple weeks later on Wednesday, August 5th. As of now, it looks like House of Hoops may be the only place to get them, but we’ll be sure to let you know if that changes. Nike Zoom Kobe IV - Westchester Com

The Zoom Kobe IV has covered some serious ground so far. Aside from being on Kobe’s feet during this year’s NBA Championship campaign, his kicks have also been converted into PE’s for a variety of high schools and colleges across the country. Now another version has been spotted, and for those who have been following the Kobe PE’s over the years, this one is no surprise. This is now the fourth time in his four Nike models that Kobe’s signature shoe has been designed as a PE for Los Angeles high school hoops powerhouse, the Westchester Comets.The Zoom Kobe IV Westchester edition sports a black upper with sections of black snakeskin, as well as a white toe box and a red Swoosh and laces. As usual, these will not be released to the public, but a few pairs usually wind up hitting eBay, so you might want to keep your eyes peeled.
