LIVESTRONG x Nike Air Zoom Tiempo T

Austin is known for its laid back attitude, hosting more live music per capita than anywhere else in the world and being the home to legendary biker Lance Armstrong. It’s also home to Lance’s Mellow Johnny’s Bike Shop, and following up on the LIVESTRONG x Nike Air Zoom Tiempo TZ pack is another pair dedicated to that cycling hot-spot.Because they’re a LIVESTRONG dedication, they of course iare decked out in black and yellow. The uppers mix premium oiled leather and tear-resistant suede, ideal for riders. Mellow Johnny’s logo appears on both tongues, and the insoles are designed differently, though each pays tribute to the collaborative efforts. And because these are a very limited release that will be available at 21 Mercer and Lance’s shop, the host town is paid tribute with “Austin� and “Texas� on the heels of each respective shoe. At one time, the Nike Tennis Classic may have been a shoe that was passed over. Recently we saw a great collaboration between Nike Sportswear Brazil that used the tennis classic as part of the Canarinho collection, and now we have a look at two bold takes on the simple silhoutte as well, which is good news for those who appreciate minimal approaches. The yellow and black may suggest a connection, as all sneakers will that come out in that colorway, to Livestrong, but alas, these are not affiliated with Lance Armstrong. The perforated swoosh that has become a staple of Nike Sportswear releases lately adorns the sneaker, along with a very simple colorblocking of yellow on the upper, a white sole, and a black heel tab, tongue logo, and outsole. The primarily black model fuses black on the upper with blue accents on the other parts of the sneaker apart from the sole. Available now at Nike accounts is this pair of Nike Air Zoom Tennis Classics. They sport a bright yellow upper constructed from leather, along with perforations which form the Nike swoosh. Other features include a classic midsole, and black accents including the heel tab and outsole. The shoe has a lot to offer and is slowly but surely gaining popularity. close

Nike x Futura - Air Force 1 Low Spr

Here is a first look at an upcoming project between Nike and artist Futura. While Nike and Futura have worked together in the past on a number of different projects, they have actually never worked together on an Air Force 1, until now. Come Spring 2010, Nike will release these two Air Force 1 Low’s, one in White and Orange and the other in Gray and White.
