Nike SB has launched the newest signature shoe from arguably the world’s top skater, Paul Rodriguez, the Nike SB Zoom Air P.Rod III and to celebrate the release of P.Rod’s third signature shoe from Nike SB, a commercial/video was filmed to honor the city in which Paul grew up in, Los Angeles, with a little bit of help from another one of LA’s very own, Ice Cube, and his song “It Was A Good Day”. This has got to be one of the best skate commercials ever filmed and produced. Nike Zoom Air P-Rod III SB Availabl

Yesterday all of the commercials, special skate board packages, dedication and design all came to the proving grounds as the P-Rod III has finally been released. The slimmer design will be tested as skaters will be able to use them on the streets as well as in parks. If Paul Rodriguez winning the X-Games in these means anything we will love them.Thanks to Black Sheep for the heads up. close

In mid-October we brought you a look at what many have deemed the best Nike Zoom Air Max Lebron VII yet in a black/white-teal colorway. This pair of the Lebron VII also sports MINIMAL red accents and is nicknamed the “Red Carpet.” Well, it has now been made public that these are now available in VERY limited quantities from Foot Locker on 34th street in New York City and three House of Hoops locations: New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Nike Trainer 1 Mid + Air Zoom Brave

Last night, we gave you a sneak peek inside the new Nike Harajuku flagship store, and to celebrate this weekend’s opening, Nike will be dropping two new player exclusive models inspired by two of Japan’s most revered athletes. Phenom pitcher, Yu Darvish, has been on the radars of Major League Baseball scouts for quite a while and will likely wind up in the U.S. very soon, but before he leaves, Nike is honoring him with his very own Trainer 1 Mid PE in a combination of white, silver, royal and yellow. The athlete that inspired the other new PE may not be a household name to you, but point guard Yuta Tabuse is known as the Japanese Jordan, and was actually the first Japanese-born NBA player when he made his debut for the Phoenix Suns in 2004. The Yuta Tabuse PE comes in the form of a flashy metallic gold Zoom Brave III with some cool multi-colored laces. Nike Zoom Kobe V “Chaos” and Ai

Kobe and LeBron will sport the Nike Zoom Kobe V and Air Max LeBron VII “Christmas” during the Cavs-Lakers game, respectively. Whether you’re a fan of either, or both, players and their signature shoes, you’re sure to be pleased to hear that the day after Christmas, both release for sale nationwide.The LeBrons had previously not been given an official release date, while the Kobes weren’t set to release until mid-January of 2010. If you recall, the Nike iD versions became available for sale this morning as well, but require a 4-6 week wait time, so if you just can’t hold out that long, you have less than 24 hours after their debut to grab the Zoom Kobe V “Chaos.” The LeBron VII “Christmas” was done especially for today’s game in a black and red gradient look, with a classic LeBron photo on the insole, capturing him receive his first basketball hoop at a tender young age.
