Concepts x New Balance 875 + 1500

Concepts x New Balance 875 & 1500

Prominent Boston sneaker boutique, Concepts, has collaborated with New Balance on both the 875 and 1500 models. The 1500 silhouette is a weathered New Balance design as it originally released in 1989 as a cutting edge running shoe. However, the 875 is an original New Balance design that will make its debut in Concepts’ chosen make-up.As is visible, the 875 is a boot yet its midsole and upper bear heavy resemblance to a sneaker. And while we are giving up the New Balance love may as well check in and see what the guys over at Concept in Boston are cooking up. They are down to help you double your pleasure with this set of a 1500 runner and 875 trainer in a fall colorway. The brown suede/leather upper is bolstered by a bit of cream and a touch of red. The red laces against the brown upper makes you flash back to the donkey kong boots BBD helped popularize or if you happen to be half sleep at work it may remind you of a cup of coffee with a red stirrer and a splash of cream. The New Balance CM1500 and ML875 are both collaborated kicks that received treatment from Boston-based sneaker store, Concepts. Both the CM1500 and ML875 are inspired by Boston’s historical roots with the burnished suede and leather uppers. When it comes to New Balance our first though is “casualty.” So when first hearing about the New Balance 875 Trail Boot we were expecting something casual, comfortable and stylish. The end result was what we expected.
