At a recent showcase in Las Vegas, the Creative Recreation brand put on display an array of high-top sneaker designs that have all been influenced by Italian fashion and lifestyle. Creative Recreation used a mix of different leathers in this collection, as it continued to conjure up attention-grabbing silhouettes furnished with Italian craftsmanship. Creative Recreation had been very very hard at work for 2009, and their effort shines through a preview of what’s to come from the label for Fall 2010. Departing from the dearly beloved sneakers, the label has generously debuted 11 new silhouettes for fall. The new styles are highly sophisticated in construction, and living up to the label’s name, extremely creative in terms of design and conception. The collection features numerous numbers based of fall-appropriate boots, and most cuts are slim.Going through a run down of Creative Recreation’s new additions and lines, three new styles are added to the label’s Choice category with a noteworthy Costello. The Costello takes on an interesting coalition of tan Timberland boot, boat shoe and hiking boots all into one shoe. The shoe is roomy with a thick dark brown leather covered ankle, sitting a top wheat-colored suede upper which is accented with brown leather laces running through the middle and moccasin toes in style of boat shoes. Creative Recreation’s Fall / Winter 2010 Footwear Collection is shown here in detail, and it is obvious that the brand has taken a more classical approach to their designs. Shown here is their Made in Italy collection, which consists of premium designs as well as different looks from previous seasons. Creative Recreation - Fall/Winter 2

Tis’ the season for trade shows. Even as spring has yet to arrive, labels have already geared up for the end of 2010 with a fresh line-up of products for preview. While Freshness was busy at (capsule) this year, Bread and Butter held in Berlin followed a few days after (capsule), and Germany’s ArtSchoolVets have visited and brought us the first and wonderful looks into what to expect for Fall/Winter 2010.ArtSchoolVets visited sneaker label, Creative Recreation, and spotted not just fresh colorways of existing popular models such as the Dicoco (which has been remade in new fabric and material) , there is also a new model, Solano, coming up for the season. The Solano is a high top sneaker adorned with zippers at the side. It comes in different types of leather and a variety of colorways. Thus far, as previewed by ArtSchoolVets, the color palette for Fall/Winter varies widely from a gentle pastel blue suede with yellow leather combo to a brighter red patent with grey suede. Crinkled, tumbled silver leather has also found itself onto sneakers for an interesting textural variation.
