Nike Vandal High (GS) - Batman

Last year Nike released a number of sneakers inspired by various Superheros for the guys and this year Nike releases another round of Superhero inspired sneakers, this time just for the kids.The otherday we showed you the Nike Air Max BW Classic ‘Superman’ and today we present to you the Nike Vandal High ‘Batman’. The sneakers use your usual Batman inspired colorup with a combo of black and grey on the upper with the heel portion finished in black patent leather. Yellow is added to the outline of the Nike Swoosh, the midsole stitching and part of the strap. Converse Wade 3 - Special Edition

Dwyane Wade wore the Converse Wade 3 during the 2007-08 season.  The shoe featured a sharp, angular design punctuated by a series of triangles stacked on the heel.  While there were plenty of colourways released for the season, these two pairs were not among that run.  NikeTalk member dandill23 apparently found these colourways at his local Converse outlet and no one, including the owner, can account for them.  It seems unlikely that they were samples, considering their appearance in US mens size 13, but the red/black and tonal brown pairs you’ll see after the jump are a mystery to us.  Take a look at the photos and let us know if you’ve seen these at your local Cons outlet or anywhere else.Read the rest of Converse Wade 3 - Special Edition© Sneaker News, 2009. |Permalink |4 comments |Add todel.icio.us close

words & images_Nick DePaulaShoe: Nike Zoom Soldier IIISize: 13Wearing: 1Ever since I first saw the Zoom Soldier III several months ago, I couldn’t wait to hoop in them. I liked last year’s  Zoom Soldier II a decent amount, but I was incredibly curious about the many changes and updates they made to this year’s model, all of which seemed to be nice and straightforward improvements. Mainly, the outsole’s “Milk Crate Technology,” perhaps one of the most overstated “technologies” that I can recall, had been replaced in favor of segmented zones featuring a traditional herringbone pattern that would likely offer up some more reliable traction out of the box. While the Zoom Soldier II clocked in a little on the heavy side, the Soldier III is made up of mostly ballistic mesh and lightweight synthetic leathers as well to help lighten up the shoe.
