Jordan PHLY Legend Carmelo Anthony

As of late, the Jordan PHLY Legend has rarely been seen in JB retailers; yet, when it does surfaces, the Jordan PHLY Legend seems to possess some nice, borrowed colorways (see “Georgetown Hoyas”, Infrared, White Cement). Now, photos of Carmelo Anthony’s PHLY Legend has surfaced on the web.The base is comprised of mainly white pebbled leather with multiple mustard yellow hints throughout the upper. Specifically, the Jordan Wings logo, inner lining, laceholders and the line design just above the sole feature this accent color. To coincide with those details, the PHLY Legend also possesses a cement print design on the side of the toe area and the word ‘Melo’ near the collar area. Obviously, this Carmelo Anthony PE does not hold a torch to the “West All-Star” Air Jordan 2010 he wore a few weeks ago, however, what are your thoughts on this shoe? Air Jordan Phly Legend – Carmelo

Air Jordan PHLY Legend Premier –

As is the case with many Air Jordan releases, the AJ PHLY Legend Premier is held in different lights depending on the sneakerhead you talk to. Last year the AJ PHLY campaign included colorways as toned-down as black/white-red and as loud as faded taupe/midnight navy-white. However, this time around, team Jordan Brand has decided to continue showing Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets, a celebrated team Jordan Brand member, how appreciated he is. Pictured here is an Air Jordan PHLY Legend Premier Player Exclusive obviously designed for Melo, which is exactly how his nickname reads across the lateral ankle area. You can find slight brown accents throughout this predominantly white, tumbled leather upper. Air Jordan PHLY Legend – Carmelo

The Air Jordan PHLY Legend hasn’t been seen much of late. Its because Jordan Brand is focusing on their new models. Well here we see one, and it does not disappoint me a bit. This Air Jordan PHLY Legend was given to Carmelo Anthony as a Player Exclusive. Most of the shoe is made of pebbled leather, but patent leather is also present on the sneaker. Mustard yellow is seen on the the Jordan Wings logo, lace holders, inner lining, and other areas of the sneaker. White patent leather is seen on the toe box, while a cement print is placed on the side of the toe area. I cant hate on this sneaker, but let us know what you think of these. close

Jordan PHLY Legend Carmelo Anthony

For Denver Nuggets player, Carmelo Anthony, receiving player exclusive shoes has been an honor especially with Brand Jordan in its continuous support for his booming career.As the latest basketball shoe for Anthony, the brand chose to bring some updates with the not so popular Jordan PHLY Legend that simply comes in White pebbled leather upper with mustard Yellow accent. The shoe’s toe has a patent leather-finished surface that joins the pebbled leather tongue. On the side of the toe area is a special fragment with cement print emphasizing the latter as the solitary part that promotes such unique detailing.With regards to the mustard Yellow accent, we can find it starting from the eyelets, Air Jordan Wings insignia and MELO branding on the ankle area, inner liner, and strip skirting above the midsole. As for the sole, laces, and Jumpman logo, White was chosen to represent them.
