Andy Warhol By Hysteric Glamour Pop

For a duration of one week only starting this coming Wednesday, Japanese label, Hysteric Glamour, will be hosting a pop-up shop featuring collaborative items between the label and Andy Warhol Foundation For Visual Arts. The collaboration has been an on-going effort since 2006, and part of the proceeds of the sales go to benefit the Andy Warhol Foundation.The Andy Warhol By Hysteric Glamour pop-up shop will be housed in Isetan Shinjuku. For this joyous retail occasion, Hysteric Glamor had also partnered up with British luxury luggage maker, Globe Trotter, to produce special suitcases. Featuring classic vintage trunks in three different sizes in clean black, paired with black and white Warhol prints as the lining of these trunks.A little rock and roll and also reminiscent of trunks that follow bands on tours, these suitcases will retail from between $1,470 to $2,310. Albeit the slightly steep price, rolling art on wheels in style will definitely make these collector’s items. GLOBE x Casio G-Shock - Watch + Sne

With the tag line “United By Fate”, the California-base GLOBE built upon collaborations among top skaters and surfers worldwide, all to focus their shared passion for action sports.  For this year, the athletic lifestyle teamed up with Casio in creating a special G-Shock pack.  Comprised of GLOBE Destroyer skate sneaker, cap, and a G-Shock DW5600GLB-7, the pack is mostly black on white color scheme with hints of metallic gold accents. On the Destroyer Sneaker, a specially designed emblem is embossed on the shoe tongue in addition to the clear outsole showcasing the word “G-Shock”.  The emblem is also embroidered on collaborative cap. Casio G-Shock x Globe Destroyer Lim

Globe Announces Casio G-Shock Colla

G-Shock and Globe, two of the most relevant, iconic brands today, have joined forces to create a fresh, limited edition, three-part collection.This collection features a DW5600GLB-7 G-Shock watch in a classic white body with white casing and a contrasting black face. The collection also incorporates a black cap that features a monochromatic G-Shock logo and a gold tag on the bill. Last but not least, both sides created a highly-detailed sneaker that possesses a silhouette similar to the Adidas Top Ten. The high-top sneaker is dressed in white leather with minimal black and gold accents seen on the side panels and heel panel. It also contains embossed Globe and G-Shock logos on the tongue. The G-Shock and Globe collaboration will be released some time in the spring to select retailers and skate shops across the world. Globe x Casio G-Shock = G-Shock Glo

Although I think I would have preferred if this would have been called the “Glock Collection,” I am glad that Globe and G-Shock collaborated. This three-piece collection features a G-Shock watch, a black cap, and a high-top sneaker.The watch is the classic DW5600GLB-7 G-Shock in white with a contrasting black face. The cap is a plain black cap with a black stitched G-Shock logo and a gold “G-Shock Globe Collection” tag on the bill. The final piece of the collection, and by far the most important, is a white high-top sneaker. The primarily white leather sneaker is accented with black and gold pieces. The black is highlighted throughout the heel, on the laces, and in the two strips on the midpanel; the black stripes definitely hinting at the adidas Top 10. The gold is highlighted on the lace tag and on the piping on the heel. Finally, the shoes are branded with an embossed Globe and G-Shock logos on the white tongue. The collection will be released some time in the spring to select retailers around world. Does the fact they the sneaker look like the adidas Top Ten bother you?
