Fila Original Classics Collection â

While Fila might not exactly be taking the footwear game by storm these days, some of us remember a time when the brand was putting out some of the freshest gear around. Back in the eighties and early nineties, Fila was a streetwear favorite long before the term “streetwear� really even existed. Known for their simple styles and Italian flavor, Fila shoes and sweatsuits were a hot commodity. Recently the brand decided to bring back some of their classic styles in traditional OG color schemes, along with some matching apparel that really stirs up the Fila nostalgia. In addition to classic sneaker models like the Original Classic Tennis and Fitness, Fila has also come correct with some fresh gear that also throws it back to the good old days. Classic Kicks x Fila Original Tenni

At the beginning of the summer, we showcased the exquisite collaboration between the New York based Classic Kicks and Fila. These Wimbledon inspired Fila Original Tennis colorways are now available at Classic Kicks’s new website.As a celebration of getting their site up and running, Classic Kicks decided to leak 20 pairs of each Original Tennis colorway which were designed for the Wimbledon tournament. Although only 20 pairs are available now, 30 more pairs of each sneaker will release during the Wimbledon tournament next summer. Classic Kicks x Fila Original Tenni

Around June we caught wind of a Classic Kicks x Fila Wimbledon collaboration. While the shoe was designed for the Wimbledon tournament we have since found out that the shoe is named the Original Tennis. We have also found out that it is available for purchase right now.The 3 color drop  in purple/white, white/green and green/purple have all been made available online in limited quantities to help launch their website. Only 20 pairs of each color are set for sale via their web portal and the remainder of the stock is set to release in the summer of 2010. G1950 x Original Fake - Towels

For the upcoming warmer weather, towels can come in handy in more ways than one and so G1950 have collaborated with Original Fake once again to produce some useful towels. There are two types available with smaller square hand towel and long rectangular face towel designs. The multi colored hand towel is a collage of various Kaws works and designs from the past which may bring you back into memory lane. Nike Air Trainer SC - Bo Jackson -

With all of the hype surrounding the new Air Trainer 1 from Nike, this Air Trainer SC in it’s original colorway that is getting ready to be released may have fallen under the radar. A number of sneakerheads will remember these Trainer SC’s from when Bo Jackson wore them in the infamous “Bo Knows� Nike commercials in the 1990’s. This was one of the first shoes that revolutionized the idea of cross training in sports.
