DC x Rob Dyrdek Collection

DC is proud to announce the release of the Dyrdek Collection from pro skateboarder Rob Dyrdek. After 14 years with DC, Dyrdekâ€â„¢s collection is a first for both himself and the brand, as its premiere athlete designed collection. The Dyrdek Collection includes footwear, apparel and accessories, all which feature signature branding and a custom print. The collection will launch to retail stores beginning October 1, 2009.The collection was designed to fit perfectly in Dyrdekâ€â„¢s life, with custom fit denim for skateboarding, lightweight zip fleece, T-shirts, hats, wallets, a leather jacket and a new footwear model. Click here to view the embedded video.This may not be the fairest race of all, but we can’t deny the hilarious comedy factor of DC Co-Founder Rob Dyrdek racing Rally Team Member Ken Block in a mini version of Ken Block’s high-powered Subaru Impreza WRX STI with his head sticking out of a moon-roof like contraption. An ironic contrast, the Gymkhana 2.1 puts a comedic twist on Ken Block’s intense Gymkhana practice where Dyrdek decks out certified driving suit made for Block by Alphinestars. The tale of compare and contrast doesn’t stop here, the two long-time friends are basically driving the same version of the car but in different sizes. Dyrdek’s is also custom made in the same graphics as Block’s rally car, and looks identical albeit the size (and obviously performance power). Watch Dyrdek and Block race and drift around the tarmac in a more complete video than what was released on MTV’s “Rob Drydek’s Fantasy Factory�. No prize for guessing who got smoked in the race. DC Shoes - The Dyrdek Collection

To commemorate 15 years of friendship, DC and team rider Rob Dyrdek have created the limited edition Dyrdek Collection â€" a unique line of premium footwear, apparel, and accessories. An integral part of the label since he joining the DC skate team in 1995, just 2 years after Ken Block and Damon Way founded the company. Aside from the team functions, Dyrdekâ€â„¢s been an active participant through every operation at DC, from marketing to product development. The result is the RD1 Mid, the centerpiece of Dyrdek Collection. It is not only a reflection of his first signature shoe, the Dyrdek 1. AKROE for Sixpack x DC Shoes - Xand
