Earlier this summer, Converse invited me to experiment with their Converse ONE initiative, an “ID” service that allows the consumer to invent their own color combinations and graft logos or personal memorandums onto their kicks. I revised a pair of Pro Leather ‘76 Mids several months ago (hit the link to read more about ONE’s blueprint and my quibbles with its piddling color palette) and got the opportunity to transform the Weapon ‘86 in June. When Nike Inc. opened up 225 Forest in Laguna Beach of Orange County, the store offered a special range of limited and specially customized items that were produced in store at The Workshop. SLAMXHYPE got their hands on one of the last pairs of limited edition white hi-top CONVERSE Chuck Taylor All Star featuring a special print from Dalek. This colorful geometric print can also be found on artwork Dalek contributed to the store and also customized Hurley trunks and tees. Converse Weapon Evo Available Now

Its been a little over five months since we have been able to bring you any news on the Converse Weapon Evo, a redesigned and updated version of the classic Converse Weapon. Now that we have gotten the go ahead from the folks at Converse we can now bring you plenty of details about the Weapon Evo as well as provide you with plenty of images of the sneakers and the upcoming colorways.The Converse Weapon Evo is an all new, court-ready, performance basketball shoe evolved from the original Weapon.
