Converse Weapon ‘86 High Blue/Bla

Last Spring we heard of a Converse Weapon ‘86 return and conducted a comparison between that retro release and the original. But two more colorways seem prepped to release before the end of this holiday season. One pair will come in a predominantly blue and black mix with white midsoles, black shoe laces, and blue contrast stitching. The second pair comes in yet another famous colorway not exclusive to the Converse Weapon ‘86- black and red, with white midsole, red shoe laces, and red contrast stitching. Both high-top pairs of the Converse Weapon ‘86 have already begun to sell from select Converse retailers for a price tag of $80. Converse Weapon ‘86 New Arrivals

Converse took a big step with their Converse Weapon when they dropped the updated Weapon EVO in the last year, having updated it with new technology more suitable for today’s NBA. The Weapon 86 also returned, making sure that we didn’t forget our roots. Two new color-ups of the classic version have hit retailers in black and blue and black and red combinations.Bird and Magic won’t be seen battling in these on the court, but maybe each can wear one color on their book promotion tour. Both pairs use black leather for the mid- and forefoot, with the contrast color on the heel. Converse Weapon Hi ‘Polka Dot’

A couple months ago Converse introduced the Weapon Evo, a revamped model of their classic Weapon Hi, a model made famous by a campaign involving Larry Bird and Magic Johnston. Based off the original Weapon the Weapon Evo for the most part stuck to the same styling as the OG’s with the addition of the Converse Balls Technology.Since the original Weapon is such a classic and was molding piece for the Weapon Evo Converse only did what was right and brought the OG Weapon back. There have been a few colorways to hit retailers so far but here we have what may just be the most outrageous model of the Weapon you will probably ever lay eyes on. The sneakers feature a completely white leather base which as you can see is accented with a polka dot pattern in red, red, yellow and blue. Yellow mesh is used on the inner lining and on the tongue, with the tongue tag finished in blue with yellow and red writing. The white mid-sole has pink Converse branding and green stitching with blue on the entire outsole.Defiantly a wild pair of Converse Weapon’s, specially for a shoe from the 80s which always consisted of very basic team colorways. Converse Weapon Hi - Polka Dot

Remember the Air Jordan Polka Dot pack? Well if you were a fan of those or just like polka dots in general these may be for you. While polka dots are not the most obvious style choice it can yield very interesting effects. The next unlikely candidate for the spotted upper is the Converse Weapon.The shoe features pink, blue, green and yellow dots along its leather upper with a blue outsole and pink/green accenting. The yellow mesh tongue and lining just complete this rainbow flavored basketball shoe. The festive shoe has been released overseas in Japan with no plans to release stateside.
