Converse Wade 3 - Special Edition

Dwyane Wade wore the Converse Wade 3 during the 2007-08 season.  The shoe featured a sharp, angular design punctuated by a series of triangles stacked on the heel.  While there were plenty of colourways released for the season, these two pairs were not among that run.  NikeTalk member dandill23 apparently found these colourways at his local Converse outlet and no one, including the owner, can account for them.  It seems unlikely that they were samples, considering their appearance in US mens size 13, but the red/black and tonal brown pairs you’ll see after the jump are a mystery to us.  Take a look at the photos and let us know if you’ve seen these at your local Cons outlet or anywhere else.Read the rest of Converse Wade 3 - Special Edition© Sneaker News, 2009. |Permalink |4 comments |Add todel.icio.us close

Miss Saigon Custom Kicks Vol.3 â€"

Here is another creation of Miss Saigon Customs. This Classic Converse is adorned with a pistol in black and white. The picture looks like a page in a comic book. The creativity and talent that goes to designing something like this is pure artistry. Saigon Customizers are really on point, Though this shoes will only appeal to those PRO-GUNs! close

Converse One Star OX + One Star V-3

Following yesterday’s find of the two Converse One Star OX Suede colorways, we now have spotted two more One Star OX styles that are also available at Mita. Are you pleased with the subtle designs of the Converse One Star sneakers?The V-3 OX (shown to the right) is very different from the previous One Star colorways that we have shown you seeing that it owns a velcro strap holding as opposed to a standard shoelace finish. The colorway is very simple yet noticeable; it owns a predominately white base with minimal yellow details particularly on the One Star logo and inner lining. Furthermore, the original One Star OX (shown here) features an identical colorway; however it owns shoelaces. Converse One Star OX + One Star V-3

Converse drops two hard to miss but easy to mistake models in a very clean albeit post Labor Day unfriendly colorway. The One Star OX series comes in a lace up or velcro strapped model and both feature full leather uppers that host one star as branding. Dipped in yellow accents with a few black details these are some pretty clean low cut kicks. Via Nicekicks close

Converse Wade 5 Sample

The Converse Wade 5 will likely never release, due to Dwyane Wade’s switch to Jordan Brand. Yet, here are some sample pictures to give us a look at what the Wade 5 could’ve been.This shoe features many visible technical facets in the heel. There is visible air cushioning as well as an exterior plastic structuring through which the laces are laced. Presumably, this latter feature would aid in heel lockdown. As it stands, the Wade 5 is on hold.
