Ronnie Fieg of David Z. teamed up with his favorite blogs to create the The Trilogy Project. The first of the three kicks to be unveiled is the CultureShoq collaboration with Asics.The CultureShoq x Asics x Ronnie Fieg features a fresh combo of white and grey placed onto the Asics GEL Lyte III. An undeniable heavyweight in the sneaker game, the GEL Lyte III is a favorite among collaborators due to it’s many customizable elements. Asics The Trilogy Collection - Cult

For Asics upcoming release Ronnie Fieg has spoken with three different blogs to take part in a collaboration on a set of Aisc Gel Lyte III’s. The blogs which he chose are Cultureshoq, Nice Kicks and High Snobiety all which will have their blog logo printed on the insole of the sneaker. For now all we have is a preview of the first pair but we will definitely keep you posted. close

Bread & Butter Tradeshow x Asics GT

The Bread & Butter Tradeshow (Berlin) unexpectedly debuts an ultra exclusive collaboration with Japanese athletic brand, Asics.The collaboration is set in two reciprocal colorways based on the Asics GT II.  The kicks sepcially feature BBBerlin gold embroidery set on the suede upper.Only 300 pairs were produced, 200 being given to Friends and Family, while 100 will be made available to the public.via: hypebeast close

Bread & Butter x Asics GT Lyte II Ã

The GEL Lyte III has been getting a lot of shine in recent years. Its older sibling the GEL Lyte II is about to get some love in the form of this upcoming pack from Asics.The Bread & Butter x Asics GT Lyte II “Salmon & Butterâ€� Pack was recently unveiled at the Bread & Butter show. The pack is exactly what it sounds, minus the fishy smell we hope. The Salmon colorway represents Japan, the land of origin of the sneaker brand, and the Butter colorway represents Germany, the location and home of Bread & Butter. Bread & Butter x Asics GT II - ‘S

Concepts and Nike SB insisted that the yellow laces in their ‘Lobster’ series of SB Dunk Low Premiums represents butter.  Just as those (neon) yellow laces might not be the most appetizing colour for butter if it were actually served to you, the ‘butter’ in this collaboration is more of an extension of the theme.  For the Summer Bread & Butter tradeshow going on right now in Berlin, Germany, Asics created a ‘Salmon & Butter’ pair of GT IIs. Totally unlike them in every way but this one, the ‘Salmon & Butter’ GT IIs take a page from the Nike Terminator High Supreme Directed by Swagger and opt for pink (salmon, really) on the left shoe and white on the right.  Each features the opposite colour on the sockliner and the right shoe has ‘BBBerlin’ embroidered in gold on the outer heel.  300 of these were cooked up, but 200 were given to friends and family at the event, leaving a scant 100 for public release.  We’ll keep you updated when that happens. via HBRead the rest of Bread & Butter x Asics GT II - ‘Salmon & Butter’© Sneaker News, 2009. |Permalink |No comment |Add t close
