The new Fall 2009 release from Asics, GT-2 Mountain is a hybrid kick that crosses between sneakers and hiking boots. These shoes take cues from the popular GT-2 running shoes and adds a hiking boot mid-top to it. The resulting shoes are protective sneaker boots that are light and easy on the feet. The new model is released in various colorways for people who are seeking anything ranging from subtle to bright. All feature quilted fabric uppers with leather accents and some come with contrasting patterned laces. These sweet hybrid kicks are now available at FLAUGE for those seeking this special niche. Asics - GT-2 Mountain

DJ Clark Kent x Nike Hyperdunk Supr

DJ Clark Kent has been doing some big things for Nike as of late, providing a few tasty additions to the East vs. West Pack, but before all that good stuff, he helped design last year’s 112 Pack, one of the most memorable Nike collaboration packs of the last few years. Back in June, we gave you a sneak peek of two new members of the 112 Pack, an Air Force 25 Low and a Hyperdunk Supreme. At the time, it was unknown if the two new models were just samples or if they would eventually be hitting retail. Now, we bring some eagerly awaited release info as well as some nice pics of the Hyperdunk Supreme, which gives the shoe perhaps its boldest look yet thanks to the Elephant print, Neon accents and reflective materials. Unfortunately, these are expected to be a Quickstrike released exclusively in China, but lets cross our fingers and hope that someone decides that these need to hit the States. For now, you’ll have to just admire the pics after the jump and we’ll be sure to keep you posted if the release expands. Nike x DJ Clark Kent - “112 Packâ

A continuation of the popular 112 Pack from DJ Clark Kent, a celebration of Kent’s roots in Brooklyn, New York, the distinctive neon green-yellow accents, elephant skin print, and 3M Scotchlite reflective are now found on the Nike Hyperdunk model.  To add a little humor, a telephone booth motif is imprinted on the tongue, as in reference to the fictional Clark Kent & Superman. DJ Clark Kent x Nike Hyperdunk Supr

The Nike Hyperdunk model featured in DJ Clark Kent’s 112 pack is set to release anytime from now, as we get a look at some more detailed images of the premium basketball shoe. Previewed in June, the model is officially slated as a China exclusive release, but that won’t stop serious North American sneakerheads from getting their hands on a pair of the highly anticipated shoes. Featuring an Elephant Print upper, Black side panel, and vivid Neon Yellow accenting, the model is tied together with hits of 3M reflective material on the midsole and heel panel. A Quickstrike release, the model won’t be on shelves for very long, so make sure you stayed tuned for more detailed release information. close
