There is something inexplicably luxe about animal prints. In the collaboration collection between the adidas Originals by Orignals line by Kazuki (kzk) and Japanese label, NEIGHBORHOOD, the classic 80s Campus silhouette is remixed in an opulent leopard print upper. Instead of the three-stripes, the stripes are replaced with three lines of perforated dots. Pair with dark denim and a slim fitted button down or graphic tee and a great blazer for a night out about town. Check out pictures of the kicks that are now available at Concepts. adidas Originals Campus 80s - Snake

adidas Originals has adorned their Campus 80s design with suede and faux snakeskin. Suede covers most of the upper and hits of snakeskin on the three stripes and heel panels add variety.In the Spring of 2010 you will be able to procure this shoe in two scaly flavors: black or brown. adidas Originals Campus 80s - A.039

This Campus 80s model is a member of the A.039 collection from adidas Originals. A.039 is a construction of the adidas internal code and it translates to “Blue.� This is not the first time that a large sneaker corporation has partially revealed some of their code within the design of their sneakers. It was also done recently by Nike in the Nike Zoom Kobe V.These kicks are definitely suited for the A.039 collection as they are mostly a deep navy blue suede. Interestingly, adidas Originals rebels against the orthodox color-pairing mantra that forbids navy blue and black to be adjacent to one another. Yet, these shoes remain attractive despite discretely going against the grain. adidas Originals Campus 80s - A.039

adidas is doing something slightly groundbreaking with their A.039 collection. The term A.039 is internal code within the company that means Blue. And with that bit of trivia out of the way we can now look at the shoes for being what they are, dope.The Campus 80s was given a blue suede upper with a leather toe. The shoe also has black leather on the stripes and heel tab which is accompanied by a white sole and the tongue tag bears the A.039 branding  to let you know that these are not your average adidas.
